JOB TITLE: BROADCAST ENGINEER
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The incumbent will maintain, updates and repairs hardware and system in broadcasting and ensures that programmes are broadcast on time to the highest possible level of quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain specialist equipment for video production, broadcast and satellite transmission
Setting up and monitoring audio visual links between units in different locations
Evaluate technical capabilities of facilities according to transmission plan
Performing routine maintenance on equipment and detecting when and what kind or maintenance is needed.
Conducting test inspections of services or process to evaluate quality and or performance
Ensure hitch free transmission of the channel's transmission
Manage play outs server
Maintain electrical installation
Manage and track satellite quality
