Job Description
The JWGN management team will be responsible for all aspects of setting up and managing a new engineering office based in Lagos, Nigeria.
This will include the full roll out and implementation of the Wood Group Management System, the mentoring, training and development of an engineering team, proposal & CTR development, as well as technical integrity and project execution.
Candidates will preferable have gained experience in the Brownfield environment during international assignments experience.
A managerial background with a proven track record training and mentoring along with an in-depth knowledge of the Wood Groups iMAP system is essential.
Qualification and Experience
Degree Qualified Engineer with associated undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years experience in Brownfield O&G engineering environment.
Must have proven ability in the following areas: Offshore / Onshore Site Surveys, Workpack Compilation, Technical Bid Evaluation, ability to Check and Approve peer & subordinate Engineering Documentation, Develop pumping schemes (concept design), develop compression schemes (concept design), pump duties, sizing & selection, compression duties, sizing & selection, integrate pumping and compression schemes in plant design
