Lead Piping and Stress Engineers Needed at Wood Group

As a result of forming a new JV engineering operation in Nigeria with Dover Engineering, JWG Nigeria Limited is now looking to employ engineering professionals into our Lagos office in the position below:

Job Title: Lead Piping and Stress Engineer

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

The JWGN management team will be responsible for all aspects of setting up and managing a new engineering office based in Lagos, Nigeria.
This will include the full roll out and implementation of the Wood Group Management System, the mentoring, training and development of an engineering team, proposal & CTR development, as well as technical integrity and project execution.
Candidates will preferable have gained experience in the Brownfield environment during international assignments experience.
A managerial background with a proven track record training and mentoring along with an in-depth knowledge of the Wood Groups iMAP system is essential.
Qualification and Experience

Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer with associated undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Pipe stress analysis experience vital with 5+ years experience Workpack Compilation.
Must be conversant in International and National codes and standards for pipework design & Procurement and have the ability to read and understand Client standards for pipework design &Procu rement.
Must have ability to read and understand Process Documentation required for Piping Design, i.e. P&IDTs. Line Lists, Data Sheets
