Description 

 

• The Marine Offshore Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of the fleet. The Marine Offshore Manager ensures analyzing and reviewing of audits is completed for corrective and preventive actions. Recruiting and assigning personnel, ensuring they are competent for assigned duties. Reviewing and acting on survey reports produced by flag administration and classification societies. The functions reports to General Manager Operations. This position is the Leadership and Management position for our performance in Marine Offshore Operations in West Africa.   Responsible for the day to day offshore operations of the Liftboats in Nigeria, ensuring  proper job planning & preparation, client satisfaction & communication as well as compliance for Hercules HSE and other policies. 

Qualifications

Required:

•     Minimum 10 years of Liftboat experience in all offshore situations and full understanding of company policies such as the J&M policy. Must have experience in managing multiple nationalities
•     Ability to manage a multiple vessel organization with diverse crew nationalities and staff in a developing country environment
•     Results driven with a high level of expectations from direct reports
•     A HSE champion with proven HSE experience
•     Ability to understand and interpret USCG / Flag State regulations and Marine Management System Manual
•     Ability to interact and provide a high level of service for customers with emphasis on developing relationships and partnering with clients
•  

Preferred:
 

•     Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University
•     Captain experience
•     Experience in Nigeria
