Our client is a recently established company, designed to provide integrated
consulting and project management services to companies in the Power
Generation, Transmission and Distribution industry, as well as other Power
Utilities. It also has as its core objective, the design and delivery of a
range of education and training programmes to meet the manpower requirement of
the power industry.
It is now seeking for self managed individuals, with a high level of
experience and drive, as well as effective leadership skills to assume the
responsibilities inherent in the following positions.
A.1 HEAD POWER PROJECTS
The appointee will have extensive senior
management experience, together with the technical skills required for the
repair and maintenance of Power Plants, and associated equipments, as well as a
range of power utilities (Generators etc)
Ideal candidates will have senior level
contracts in the Power Industry as well as Corporate to facilitate the
effective business development skills that will be required to source for power
repairs and maintenance projects.
He will also have high level technical and project management skills,
required for ensuring the effective delivery of the services.
Suitable candidates will be University or Polytechnic graduates of
Power, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, who have not less than ten years
relevant experience in the maintenance and repairs of a wide range power plant
and utilities.
A.2 HEAD
BUSNESS DEVELOPMENT
The required candidates will drive the business development initiatives
of the company to meet revenue and profit objectives
Apart from the activities highlighted for the Head, Power project
position, the appointee will be involved in developing the market for the
company’s education/training programmes, the supply of a range of power
equipments, and power utilities maintenance contracts from Banks, Telecom
Companies, Commercial
Buildings
Suitable candidates are therefore expected to have a very good knowledge
of the Power/Utilities Industry, and will ideally, have senior level contacts
across a range of companies, in the Power industry as well as other corporate.
Qualifications in the Engineering Sciences, Business Administration or
marketing with not less than eight years relevant business development
experience will be required for these positions.
These two positions will continue part of Executive Management Team of
the Company, which is an associated company of a well respected Engineering
Consulting Firm.
