QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A.        PROFESSOR

The professor is a Senior Academic Staff who is to provide administrative and academic leadership in the faculty

Qualifications

        i.                                                            A Ph. D degree in relevant academic discipline from a recognised University

      ii.            Evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals

    iii.            Membership of relevant professionals bodies

    iv.            Consideration knowledge and application of information Technology

      v.            Must have attained the rank of professor at time of application

Experience

Candidates applying for the position of Professor must have a minimum of ten (10) years post doctoral teaching and research experience in a tertiary institution and must also be specialist in core areas of departmental fields of study.

Candidate must possess demonstrable competence to provide academic leadership. Administrative experience in a tertiary institution will be an added advantage.

SALARY: CONUASS 7 (N4,580,349.00-N6,020,163.00)

B.        ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

The Associate Professor is a Senior Academic Staff of a Faculty whose duty is to assist the Dean generally in the administration of the Faculty. He/She is to provide leadership, undertake research and participate in University/Professional/Community Services.

                                              

Qualifications

i.              A  PhD degree in relevant academic discipline from a recognised University

ii.            Evidence of scholarly publications in both local and international reputable learned journals

iii.          Membership of relevant professional bodies

iv.          Appreciable knowledge and application of information Technology

Experience

Candidate must have a minimum of eight (8) years post-doctoral research, teaching and administrative experience in a tertiary institution

SALARY: CONUASS 6 (N3,768,221,00-N5,004,750.00)
