Job Type: Regular, Full time
General Information
There is currently a full time Engineer position available in the Pipelines Operation Department. This position reports to the Co-ordinator, Pipelines Projects. In a team environment, this position is responsible for the operations planning; execution and reporting of all assigned projects cutting across various clients based pipeline system.
Responsibilities
As part of a team, plan and co-ordinate all assigned projects to the satisfaction of client and in conformity with company's expectation:
Maintains direct supervisory control over the total performance of his work force;
Maintain database of all project activities using existing software and tools;
Ensure the protection of all company's equipment and personnel through strict surveillance and enforcement of security, safety and environmental rules and procedures at each work site;
Given the dynamic nature of day-to-day operation, occasionally required to respond to tight timelines:
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning;
Encourage and foster initiative and creativity,
Liaise with all relevant internal customers within the company structure to ensure smooth and seamless project execution.
Other tasks as required
Education and Qualifications
Mature and self-motivated; -Good planning and organizational skills; -Good analytical, problem solving and technical abilities; -Good oral and written business communication and presentation skills;
Aptitude with computer programs such as AUTOCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, etc
Strong interpersonal skills with good influencing, negotiating and facilitation abilities;
Work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with changing priorities
Education/ Experience
Bachelor Degree or HND in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical ,Metallurgical, Material, Corrosion or Pipeline Engineering
3 or more years of progressive engineering experience in the pipeline pigging, inspection and testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, Nitrogen & Helium Testing and other pipeline & process intervention services
Knowledge of oil and gas pipeline facility configuration/ installation Knowledge of offshore work environment
