Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates
for the under listed post in the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals
Complex, Ile-Ife.
A. POSTS:
(I) SENIOR LEGAL
OFFICER (CONHESS 09 STEP 1- (N1, 318,488.00) per annum
(ii) LEGAL
.OFFICER (CONHESS 08 Step 2 (N1, 151,989.00) per annum.
(iii) EXTER
AUDITORS TO THE INSTITUTION
B. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
For Post 1&11:
(i) Candidates must possess LL.B (Hons.) from a recognized
University and obtained Bachelor of laws (B.L) from the Nigeria Law School plus
evidence of completion of or exemption from the NYSC.
In addition, Candidates must
have five (5) years post NYSC experience and must be legally-qualified to
practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria
(ii) Candidates must possess LL.B (Hons.) from a recognized
University and obtained Bachelor or Laws (B.L) from the Nigeria Law School plus
evidence of completion from the NYSC.
In addition, Candidates must have at least two years (2) years post
NYSC experience and must be legally-qualified to practice as a Barrister and
Solicitor in Nigeria.
C. FUNCTION FOR POST I AND II:
Successful
candidates for the post will be required to perform the following functions:

Rendering legal advice to the
institution on all legal matters
·
Drafting and filing legal
document in Courts.
·
Preparing legal documents on
behalf of the institution.
·
Appearing on behalf of the
Board and institution in matters relating to litigations in Courts.
·
Any other duties that may be
assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and or Management/ Management Board.
D. MENTHODS OF APPLICATION FOR I AND II:

All completed forms with photocopies of all relevant credentials/documents

E. POST-III EXTERNAL AUDITIONS
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMNETS FOR EXTERNAL AUDITORS
Interested Audit
Firms are invited to submit the following documents in their applications: the
following documents:
(i)
Tax clearance certificate for
the past three (3) years:
(ii)
Evidence of company
registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission:
(iii)
Evidence of company
registration with the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation
(iv)
Evidence of company
registration with relevant professional body (ies) in Nigeria and or overseas:
(v)
Verifiable list of similar and
other audit jobs successfully done with their locations and dates. Please,
include copies of letters of such appointments:
(vi)
A vowed application auditing
methods, equipment and materials for providing the service. State whether these
are indigenous/privately patented, On lease, hired or owned: and
(vii)
List of name and curriculum
vitae of professional in the employ of the audit firm their qualifications and
years of experience, should be indicated with photocopies of their professional
certificates attached where applicable.
F. METHODS OF APPLICATION FOR EXERNAL AUDITORS:
All interested
Audit Firms must be registered with the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching
Hospitals Complex as Contractors/Suppliers and must pay a non-refundable fee of
Thirty Thousand Naira (30,000.00) to any of the Cash Points in the institution.
Then copy of the above receipt must be enclosed with the pre-qualification on
requirements for the application to be submitted.
G. SUBMISSOION OF APPLICATION FOR EXTERN AL AUDITORS
Interested Audit
Firms must submit two (2) separate hard copies and a soft copy of their
applications in wax sealed envelopes and marked “External Auditors’ Application”
on the top right hand side of the
envelops and addressed to:

Only application
forms of shortlisted audit firms will be acknowledge. The Hospital shall not
enter into any correspondence with any unsuccessful firm.
H. CLOSING DATE FOR POST I, II AND III:
The closing date
of submission of duly completed application forms is Six (5) weeks from the
date of this advertisement
