Axios Group is an International Organization that
specializes in providing access to healthcare services in developing countries.
The program aims to improve the planning, financing and delivery
of sustainable and replicable pro-poor health services for common health
problems, focusing on six states and the federal government.
POSITION: SYSTEM STRENGTHENING LOGISTICS OFFICER (SSLO),
LOCATION: ENUGU
Key Responsibilities:
·
Provide technical assistance to the SMoH in
designing and implementing strategies in the procurement of health commodities
by the state for effective warehousing and Distribution to all selected health
facilities.
·
Provide technical support to the SMoH and Health
Management Committees in monitoring the operations of the Drug Revolving Fund
(DRF).
·
Provide technical assistance to the CMS in the
collection, collation and analysis of requisition and issues data to ensure
complete, accurate and timely issuance of health commodities to facilities.
·
Support the State in the development and
distribution of logistics feedback reports
·
Provide support to staff in reviewing and
strengthening logistics and DRF Policies, Systems and Operations
Minimum Qualifications:
1.
Degree in Pharmacy, management of logistics or
related, additional qualification in the related field will be a advantage
2.
Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy
practice/Logistics management
3.
Experience in designing or implementation of
health commodity logistics systems and strategy
4.
Excellent presentation skills using MS office
package with knowledge of Excel
5.
Ability to speak Igbo language in addition to
English is an advantage
6.
Experience with Government systems and dynamics
of working in health systems, NGO and private sector will be an added advantage
7.
Strong knowledge of DRF.
Job Circumstances:
1.
The position involves extensive travels locally
up to 40% of the time
