An
international civil engineering and road construction company with several
sites within and outside the country has limited vacancies for highly qualified
and experience foreign professionals in
civil, road and highway engineering.
A. CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER/SUPERVISOR
Only candidates with the following qualifications
should apply:
B.Sc or
its equivalent in engineering with a minimum of 5 years working experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Carry out daily supervision of activities on
sites.
2.
Ensure deadlines are met and that tasks are
properly executed according to specifications.
3.
Ensure maximum and effective utilization on
plants and machinery at site.
4.
Ensure proper coordination of site workers.
5.
Resolve site problems and implement
corrective/preventive actions.
6.
Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by
management.
NB: The successful candidate shall be fully
resident at site. Lagos will merely serve as his transit/passage camp.
B. CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN/SENIOR ROAD SUPERVISOR
Only
candidate with the following qualifications should apply:
OND or
Post Secondary training in engineering or related field with minimum of 8 years
working experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1
Ensure daily supervision of site activities and
keeping daily records.
2
Ensure that the project is carried out according
to specifications and within the given time schedule.
3
Monitor performance of site workers and keeping
accurate records of same.
4
Ensure that safety standards are respected both
for personnel and for plant and machinery.
5
Ensure optimum utilization of plant and
machinery by reducing down time.
6
Report daily performance of plant and machinery.
7.
Carry out any other responsibilities as may be
assigned by management.

resident at site and reporting to the Managing Director

POSITION: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (OPERATIONS)
Reporting
directly to the Managing Director/CEO and relevant Board Committees, this
position has the responsibility for business development, funds contributions,
benefits, investment, relationship management and customer care. It provides
leadership for the core operations of the company and ensures that the
following key objectives are met:

Provision of advice to management on sustainable
business and marketing strategies and the design, development and effective management
of the company’s products and services.
·
Building deep and sustainable relationships with
customers and other stakeholders.
·
Provision of direction and appropriate guide for
investment activities to achieve optimal portfolio mix and individual portfolio
components.
·
Effective management of customers’ contributions
in line with agreed investment guidelines and limits.
·
Ensuring that the company delivers on its
promise to customers.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
·
Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in a numerate
or semi-numerate discipline such as actuarial science, statistics, mathematics,
accounting, economics, banking, finance, insurance, law and business studies.
·
Possession of a relevant qualification in
Investment or an MBA is advantageous.
·
Minimum of 18years post-graduation experience of
which at least 13 must have been in the Financial Services Sector and 7 years
of Top/Senior Management Experience.
·
The ideal candidate must demonstrate sound
financial acumen, professionalism, excellent managerial skills and effective
leadership capacity.
POSITION: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (CORPORATE SERVICES)
This
position reports directly to the Managing Director/CEO and relevant Board
Committees and has responsibility for the Finance, information Technology,
Human Resources & Administration as well as Risk Management functions. In
providing effective support services to the company, the incumbent must achieve
the following key objectives:

Provision of strategies direction and guidance
for the organization’s corporate services including the Human Resources
Function and Services Delivery models.
·
Accountability, integrity and transparency of
the financial management systems.
·
Continuous availability and effectiveness of
business applications and technology infrastructure.
·
Assurance of the adequacy of the risk management
systems for controlling and managing market and counterparty risks.
Ensure
that the organization’s services and internal processes meet defined standards
and quality. These include the procurement and facilities management processes
and systems.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
·
Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in a
numerate or semi-numerate discipline such as actuarial science, statistics,
mathematics, accounting, economics, banking, finance, insurance, law and
business studies.
·
Must be a member of one of any of the following
recognized professional bodies namely CIPM, CIA, ICAN, ACCA, ICMN, ICE, NIM, IT
Certifications (OCP, MCDBA, MCSE, CCNP, CCIE, etc.).
Possession of an MBA is an added advantage.
·
Minimum of 18years post-graduation experience of
which at least 13 must have been in the Financial Services Sector and 7 years
of Top/Senior Management Experience.
·
This position is for a versatile individual. Possession
of expertise and experience in two of more areas will be clearly advantageous.
He/she must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills, written and oral
communication skills and clear track record of problem solving and effective
leadership.
