National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) Invitation for Aptitude Test

National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) – The Payment was set up by the NIMC Act No. 23 of 2007, with responsibilities for carrying out the National Identity Administration System; managing the National Identification Database; giving out General Multi-purpose (brilliant) Cards (GMPCs); and offering Identity Verification Companies in Nigeria.

National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) welcomes prospects that applied for the its Massive Nationwide Graduate & Experienced Recruitment 2012 to come for aptitude examination. The positions were marketed in December, 2012.

Below is a sample text message sent by NIMC.

If you applied and haven’t received any sms or email invitation,  please be patient, you could still be invited.
The Aptitude Test is starting on Saturday, 23rd February 2013 till March 2013.

The Aptitude Test are to be done in batches, about 158,000 candidates applied for the advertised positions, I don’t really know how many were invited for the Test, but some people were even scheduled to take the Test on Sunday, 24th February.

Some shortlisted candidates have been complaining that the exam center given to them is different from the preferred center they chose during the application.

This recruitment exercise is part of the human resource restructuring by the NIMC and targeted towards the proposed formal launch of the scheme in 2013, as well as to achieve its mandate of providing a functional National Identity Management System for Nigeria. NIMC would, therefore, like to recruit the best available talents to fill several positions within the Commission.
