  1. Nigerians, pls what is the problem with the medical system in Nigeria. Why charging applicants #5000 for application form, when the senate have stopped these charges. Is the Senate aware of this? why is there no provisions for Medical Laboratory Scientists in the advert instead the so called consultants in laboratory medicine, trained by medical Laboratory Scientists if at all they are even trained and can even identify malaria parasite in a blood film, who does the work in the laboratories? Who is recognized in the Nigerian constitution? Let the work of the Lab Scientists and consultants be clearly stated, and let not consultants stop the recruitment of Lab Scientists. Why is Medical Laboratory Scientists sidelined in all the recruitments in the federal medical centers and teaching hospitals since last year? Last year,FMC Owerri recruited technicians and the consultants but no Scientists. Could they claim to have enough Scientists? What of those going on retirement this year and next year? Any plans to replace them? Is the Medical Laboratory Science Council Of Nigeria aware of all these happenings? Is federal character commission aware of this advert?

  2. Why is there provisions for physiotherapists, pharmacists, radiologists, dental Technologists even nurses but no provisions for medical laboratory scientists instead consultants in Laboratory Medicine. Which department has greater work load that requires additional staff? What is the Medical Laboratory Council Of Nigeria doing about this?
