Integrated Marine and Subsea Contractor recruiting in 3 Positions

VACANCIES
Our client an integrated Marine and Subsea Contractor, providing a wide range of services to clients in the oil & gas industry and renewable energy sector world – wide, require the services of the following.

1. COUNTRY MANAGER:
Responsibilities:
Assume full responsibility for the formulation development and achievement of the organization’s Nigeria based sales targets and market penetration goals and objectives in alignment with divisional strategy
Assistance in other regions may also be required

Proactively leads activities and development of pursuit plans, adopting a structured and rigours approach to the identification and closing of new business opportunities with both established and new customers
Devise, create and implement commercial propositions that maximize the selling opportunities across the range of services
Build trusting and influential relationship with current and prospective customers, ensuring that our client is appropriately aligned technically, commercially an operationally to take advantage of all potential revenue generating opportunities
Assist with commercial strategy development and preparation of bids and proposals, coordinating with engineering, operations and commercial focal points, ensuring review compliance with designated authority level
Assist the Commercial team in negotiating the commercial terms of engagement directly with customers adopting a proactive approach to winning business by personally building trust and integrity with the customers.
Maintain a steady flow of relevant market information and customer specific intelligence, ensuring that visibility to future revenue streams is high and accurate
Continually protect and enhance company’s reputation/perception in the marketplace through the application of carefully planned customer development initiatives, promotional events, trade fairs and exhibitions.
Undertake to acquire and continue to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s full range of services, products and capabilities, and covey to customers any new developments which promote the company’s reputation.
Builds and maintain excellent relationships internally, working closely with colleagues and ensuring communication lines are open, business performances optimized, standards of customer service are enhanced and new opportunities fully exploited.
Responsibility for and management of, local country managers in the Nigeria region.

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
A highly credible, energetic business development professional with proven experience in sales marketing and commercial management, ideally gained within the subsea construction sector
Well organized relationship builder with strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, outstanding commercial awareness and good all round business acumen. Must display the presence and maturity to influence and win the confidence of customers
Possessing the technical credibility to collaborate with project and engineering teams, and enjoy the challenge of devising and presenting innovative solutions to customers technical and operation challenges.
Ambitious, with the necessary drive, determination and ability to success in a success in a customer facing role
Displays the necessary character, attitude and personal presence to influence and win customer confidence
Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.

2. PROJECT MANAGER:
Responsibilities:
Reports to Operations Manager    
Line management of oil Offshore Operational personnel directly involved in the contract or project including the organization of annual leave, crew changes and travel and welfare plans
Generating from contract reviews mobilization plans in conjunction with the Technical Director ensuring that all personnel and materials are available at the correct times and locations to enable projects to be undertaken in a professional manner

Reporting data collected from DPR’s and other sources in a timely and concise manner, complete with all contractually required supporting information to all the generation of invoices
Control of the engineering information required to support the offshore operations and systems maintenance
The control of project purchasing, stores, logistics, and liaising with the QA and HR
Departments on the selection of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that materials are of the correct standard and suppliers are suitably qualified for the service being provided
Timetabling preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment remains fully operational and available to meet the Client’s requirement.
Maintaining records of defects and down time.    

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Degree qualified in an Engineering or Sciences
Minimum of 10 years experience in offshore engineering or construction with 3 years being at Supervisor level
An in-depth knowledge of offshore engineering techniques used in support of offshore & subsea operations including overseeing the mobilization and commissioning process required to bring an ROV system to an operational state.
Wide-ranging Engineering skills and knowledge
Thorough understanding of International, National and local Legislation and the effects that it has upon the areas of the company’s operations
Must have excellent organizational capabilities , self-motivated with excellent Client facing communication skills
Excellent people management skills
Team player
Experience of working in a fast paced dynamic environment
Computer literate
