Overall Job Functions:
The incumbents will provide technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with health facility -based teams to provide PMTCT services to pregnant and post partum HIV positive women and their babies. Note that the organization. Position designation or job title is flexible based on the quality of experience of the preferred candidate.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementing and monitoring PMTCT activities at sites in designated state
Designing interventions to improve the care of HIV pregnant women and their exposed babies
Overseeing the PMTCT activities at site in designated states by providing on- going mentoring and hands on supervision
Supporting the provision of care and treatment to patients as part of site multidisciplinary team
Building site personnel capacity through training
Developing and strengthening plans for enrolling more pregnant HIV + women in the communities into PMTCT clinics
Supervising data collection for monitoring and evaluation use.
Minimum Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Nursing/Midwifery, Medicine, or Public health
Robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment
Experience in providing PMTCT services (minimum 3years + preferable)
Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current trends, and practices in HIV/AIDS and PMTCT
Experience in training facilitation
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
General Requirements:

Position: Accountant

Overall Job Functions:
Works with the Finance Manager and is responsible for accounting in the office and ensuring compliance with the contractual financial requirements of the project. S/he will be in charge of accounting including account reconciliation and balance, tax claims and VAT reporting and payment vouchers processing.
Responsibilities:
Assists the Finance Manager to ensure the accurate keeping of all books of account for the project, including checking account, equipment and supply registers
He Finance Manager in monitoring NGO sub project budgets in accordance with approved work plan activities
Prepare financial reports for office staff to monitor and track obligations and expenditures
Prepare written and verbal responses to inquiries and requests for budgetary information
Work with the Finance Manager to provide technical assistance to NGOs on accounting and financial matters
Assist the Finance Manager in monitoring NGO sub project budgets in accordance with approved work plan activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
At least 3 years’ experience as an Accountant in a dynamic, international environment
Interpersonal and presentation skills

Strong practical sense and ability to handle multiple tasks and to set priorities
Precise and attentive to details

Position: Adherence Associate

Overall Job Function:
To provide comprehensive adherence counseling, mentoring, supervision and technical assistance at health facilities supported by the program in coordination with the Ministries of Health either at Federal or state level as appropriate. This role will also work with service providers and members of support Groups of PLHWHA in providing support for achieving best practices in patient adherence.
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing adherence counseling services for supported sites using the Government of Nigeria’s stipulated guidelines and requirements. Fostering connections with the community in which the site is situated, with regards to ARV access and adherence .
Provision of technical support and advice to the medical team (consisting of the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, PHE and medical records officers) at the supported sites.
Provision of periodic trainings and continuous mentoring support to site adherence counselors.
Provision and supervision of comprehensive adherence counseling to potential ARV clients and their care-givers; assessment of potential clients readiness for ARV therapy through the adherence counselors.
Supervising periodic adherence assessment of ARV patients through the adherence counselors.
Provision of routine site activity progress reports to the Central Adherence Advisor
Minimum Qualifications:
First Degree in Health Science (Pharmacy, nursing, social work, counseling, sociology, or related courses)
Previous HIV/AIDS counseling and health teaching experience
Previous experience or training in adherence counseling
Previous experience or training in group counseling techniques or models
Demonstrated ability to assess patient readiness and to work from a readiness/ behavioral change counseling model (empathy, curious, respectful, etc)
Ability to coordinate groups, implement a schedule of patient care, keep accurate records, and attend to details (strong organizational skills)
A good team player, able to work in a close multidisciplinary team
Self- Directed and able to work with minimal supervision
Fluent in English, Pidgin English and at least one Nigerian language(preferably Hausa).
