 VACANCY IN MODERN FARM AT ILARO, OGUN STATE

Qualified professionals are required in a reputable and modern farm located in Ilaro, Ogun State as:

GENERAL MANAGER/FARM MANAGER

·         Graduate of Agriculture with bias in Animal science with about 5-10 years experience in an established commercial poultry farm

·         Will have 24 hour access to the farm for effective supervision

·         A team player with good managerial skills

·         Reporting directly to the CEO

MARKETING MANAGER

·         HND/B.Sc. in Agricultural Economic or Business Studies/Accounting

·         Ensure the receiving and stacking of eggs from the farm

·         In charge of sales of eggs and other farm products, especially the point of cage birds.

·         Will supply/deliver goods to buyers on production of evidence of payment

·         Maintain accurate records of all goods received from farm, daily sales and outstanding stocks.

·         Report Directly & Submit weekly report to the CEO

LIVESTOCK SUPERVISOR (BROODING & GROWER PENS)

Assisted by 2 attendants

·         HND in Agric. With 3-5 years experience on the job

·         Responsible for brooding of Chicks from Day Old to 12 weeks

·         Maintain temperature and humidity of brooding pens in order to limit mortality

·         Ensure all best practices are adopted

LIVESTOCK SUPERVISOR (LAYERS)

Assisted by 2 attendants

·         HND in Agric. With 3-5 years experience on the job

·         Management of the layers from point of lay to culling

·         Ensure birds are fed, given vitamins and all required as & when due

·         Ensure daylight exposure is gradually increased throughout the laying period

·         Maintain temperature and humidity of laying pens to limit mortality

·         Pick eggs twice a day (Morning & Evening)

·         Ensure all best practices are adopted

ACCOUNTANT

·         A qualified accountant with 3-5 years post qualification experience relevant

·         To farm operations

·         Prepare & process financial documents

·         Report to General manager
