VACANCY
BUYER AND STORES OFFICER
A vacancy has risen within the Procurement department in Exprotech Nigeria Limited, Port Harcourt, for a Buyer and Store Man reporting to the Procurement Materials logistics Manager.

 BUYER – Ref/26A/03/12
The principal accountabilities of the position are but not listed to the following:-
To receive Engineering or generic specifications and source competitive bids from qualified suppliers that meet the specification, quality, budgetary and schedule requirements. Ensure all equipment is completed in conformance with operational load out lists or production plans.

When required, and directed by the PM Manager create Procurement Plans and support project/product line execution. Focal point of contact for the project and delivery promises are maintained by suppliers with information communicated to the project/product team and other stakeholders. Working with Team Leader/Supply Chain Manager on leading higher level Negotiation, Placing of Purchase Orders for the project, commodity or product line.
To negotiate and place Purchase Orders, ensuring schedule reporting and delivery promises are maintained by suppliers with information communicated to the project/product team and other stakeholders. Working with Team Leader/Supply Chain Manager on leading higher level Negotiation, Placing of Purchase Orders for the project, commodity or product line.
In conjunction QA and QC processing supplier non-conformances, utilising (Epitrak) to ensure that the correct actions are taken to close them out in a timely manner.
To ensure suppliers meet required HSEQC standards and that product delivered is to specification, on time and with no injuries.
To expedite orders in accordance with Purchase Order requirements. Work with business units to communicate and improve delivery where-ever possible and updating SAP accordingly
Responsible for continually working “key” suppliers to ensure clear scope definition and cost reduction programs.

Actively support PM Manager with existing supply agreement contracts and consignment stocks levels with the supply chain while negotiating the most competitive commercial package for the company. Interface with the business units to ensure consignment –stocking levels mirror capacity demand and forecast requirements.

STORES OFFICER – Ref/26/03/12
The principal accountabilities of the position are but not listed to the following:-
The execute the receiving and dispatching of stock to and from regions/technicians/customers:-
Raise delivery notes against the relevant accounts
Return stock to suppliers for repairs
Ensure all stock has serial numbers
Prepare stock requirements timeously
Prepare parcels correctly and in time for collection
Draw required stock and keep Bin Cards correctly updated
Maintain effective stock control at all times
Complete GRN of stock received from suppliers and forward to Stores Manager
Introduce all stock procured into Hive
Administer all paperwork and delivery notes as per defined procedures
Ensure minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times
Take part in stock take/Asset Count

The successful candidates should also meet the following criteria:-
Well organized and focused on excellent service delivery
Good interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken communication skills
Meticulous
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and multitask
Self-motivated and ambitious
A minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement Oil and Gas
