A Leading International Oil and Gas based in Nigeria is inviting suitable candidates to apply for the under-listed positions that exist in her clients organisation
Position: ROV Specialist – Deep Water
Scope of Service Include but not limited to the following:
* Schedule, plan, prepare, manage and supervise ROV operations and liaising with line management and client departments as necessary
* Assist with the management of technical aspects of assigned contracts with respect to ROV’s and tooling.
* Assist with the management of ROV tools owned or ranted by company (inventory, maintenance, renewal of tools, etc.)
* Participate in the Call for Tender process, technical evaluation and selection of ROV contractors
* Assist with the organization and preparation of ROV intervention operations in coordination with project engineers, vessels superintendents, drilling and exploitation entitles Review all procedures related to ROV operations, including but not limited to installation and maintenance procedures.
* Assist with the maintenance of internal statistics for ROV and tooling performance.
* Assist with the daily follow-up of all ROV activities within Deep Water, in close coordination with ROV contracted personnel and COMPANY representatives onboard the vessels, offshore installations and drilling rigs.
* Assist with maintaining an up to date database of the number, operational condition and position of all Deep Water ROV tools and assets.
Requirements:
* Educated to degree level in engineering or technical equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 7 years experience in offshore oil and gas installation / construction industry as ROV Pilot/ Operator of which at least 2 years should be in a senior position such as ROV Superintendent or ROV Team Leader
Position: Rotating Equipment Engineering Supervision
Scope of Service include but not limited to the following:
* Rotating Equipment Engineering service provider snail be fully responsible for the supervision, control and co-ordination of rotating equipment aspects of the basic engineering studies being carried out
* Ensure that engineering is performed in line with the project scope of requirements, company general specification and procedures, and international codes and standards;
* Coordinate with corporate rotating equipment specialist and prepare derogation requests to company general specifications when required;
* Review, comment and approve all rotating equipment engineering documents:
* Responsible for the development of all specifications and data sheets based on solid design knowledge of offshore oil and gas processing facilities including FPSO. Main equipment shall include large turbo-generators, turbo-compressors, centrifugal pumps and cargo pumps;
Requirements:
* Education; Must be degree qualified mechanical engineer or equivalent: preferably chartered
* Professional experience: Minimum 10 years worked in the oil and gas (preferably offshore projects) industry with previous emphasis on FEED, detailed engineering and project task force related work.
* Advantageous to have work experience on previous FPSO projects.
