Qualifications / Experience
B.Sc. (Second Class Lower) or HND (Upper Credit) in Marketing/Economics, Business Administration or any other
Social Sciences discipline.
A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
A professional qualification such as ACII, ACIIN.
Minimum of 8 years cognate experience in marketing insurance or financial and allied products.

Job description / Responsibilities
Shall be responsible for the management and implementation of the Corporate Communications objectives, policies and strategic communications plans of IGI.

Director, Corporate Communications
Knowledge / Skills
Rounded Marketing Communication background and exposure in Public Relations, Advertising, Events Management, Protocol and advisory services.
Demonstrable innovative spirit is a necessity.
Sound and deep knowledge of current industry trends.
Ability to work for long hours with minimum supervision.
Willingness to travel at short notices.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written).
Qualifications / Experience
A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable university in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences or business related disciplines.
Higher degree(s) M.Sc or MBA will be added advantage.
Membership of relevant professional association is very desirable.
Minimum of thirteen (13) years post qualification experience with at least seven (7) years in Corporate Communications and Allied industry including four (4) years in top/senior management position.

Overall purpose
Development, management and advice on protocol policies as well as other protocol assignments as may be directed.
Job description / Responsibilities
Developing, managing, and advising on protocol policies, procedures, and program matters.
Planning and executing domestic and foreign visits, tours, ceremonies, and special events.
Movement of personnel including, but not limited to, providing meet and greet service
Liaising with embassies and airlines (travel agencies) for visas and flight routings.
Visa applications, immigration activities, hotel and airline bookings and other related duties.
Other protocol assignments as may be directed.

Knowledge / Skills
Must be computer literate.
Good communication skills.
Qualifications / Experience
BA/B.Sc Humanity, Art & Social Sciences (Minimum of 2nd Class Lower).
Membership of a professional association (NIPR, etc) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years experience in protocol services.
