Head Of School In An International Educational Institution

Our client is an international Nursery/Primary/Secondary School in an exclusive location in Abuja, custom-built outstanding facilities and environment. In line with its vision of providing total educational that will enable each build to realize their full potentials as responsible global citizens, the school seeks to recruit a dynamic leader (Nigerian or Expatriate) to actualize theses laudable objectives:


HEAD OF SCHOOL (NIGERIAN OR EXPATRIATE)
The Head of School will be responsible for implementing the school’s development plan and providing strategic leadership and direction which will motivate all staff to strive for superior performance in order to ensure the best possible outcome for the pupils and students in all spheres. The candidate of choice must have excellent leadership and management skills which will ensure that all set targets are met.

Job Specifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Education plus a Masters degree in a related discipline
Knowledge of the National Policy on Education
Understanding of the relevant laws and regulations governing the provision of educational services in Nigeria
In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and British curricula
Effective communication skills
Ability to identify, effect and monitor school improvement programmes
Required Experience
Must have at least 15 years cognate working experience in a reputable school and not less than 5 years in management/Leadership position
He/she must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills

Remuneration
The remuneration is very attractive and negotiable
