VACANCIES AT INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
 
Our Client, an International Construction Company: is looking for the services of the following individuals to work at their Lagos project. The openings are:

1.         CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR: You will be involved in all aspects of construction project management, from pre-construction activities through final building commissioning. You will ensure that all contractual provisions related to the project is followed, monitored and closed out.
 
2.         DOCUMENT CONTROL: You will supervise and lead document control teams, ensuring all aspects of performance and work are in compliance with project specifications and quality control procedures
 
3.         SITE SUPERVISOR: You will assist the project manager in the delivery of projects by supervising and coordinating the activities on site.
 
4.         LEAD CARPENTER: You will supervise and lead crew/workers engaged in Carpentry works at site
 
5.         LEAD IRON-BENDER: You will supervise and lead crew/workers engaged in Rebar fabrication and building construction at site
 
6.         PLANNING ENGINEER: You will be involved in project management and planning. You will also be required to apply your acknowledge in various management tools and techniques to meet the project requirements
 
7.         TOPOGRAPHERS: You are responsible in supervising all land/field surveying activities ensuring that best practices are implemented alongside with the quality assurance. You will also be involved in all issues related to land surveying scope of the project which include calculations of latitude, longitude, angles areas and other information for map making.
8.         TOPOGRAPHERS ASSISTANT: You will work under the direction of Topographer to carry out surveying activities ensuring that best practices are implemented accordingly
           
9.         QUALITY OFFICER: You will ensure that the quality of wok on site is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards
 
10.       MATERIAL ENGINEER: You will organise and execute all purchasing activities for materials in order to provide effective and efficient procurement services to meet the needs of the company
 
11.       SITE PURCHASE: You will execute local purchasing activities for materials in order to meet the needs of the company
 
12.       QUANTITY SURVEYOR: You will manage all quantities relating to projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will also seek to minimize the costs of project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality
 
13.       INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER: You will analyse, develop and report on time information, utilizing data from various reporting systems. You will also develop and support tools to improve IT support capabilities
 
14.       SITE ACCOUNTANT: You are responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information of recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions review of work pertaining to receivables, payables, general accounting and payroll matters and preparation of various management reports
 
15.       CARPENTER: You will assist the Lead Carpenter to construct, erect, install and repair, form work, structures and fixtures of wood and plywood materials. You will also carry out any other duty as may be directed.
 
16.       LABOUR: Provide labour assistance in different disciplines in construction site.
 
17.       MASON: Responsible for masonry work in different disciplines in the field or industrial, commercial and residential building construction including general housekeeping
 
18.       SITE INSPECTOR: HSE-Responsible for full time and continuous safety coverage and monitoring at work site under the instruction of the HSE manager.
 
19.       SITE LABOUR/CLEANER: You will be responsible for site cleaning and assistance in different discipline in the field of construction
 
20.       TRADE FOREMAN: Responsible for supervising both skilled and unskilled labourers during construction, maintenance and other manual labour, oversee distribution of manpower, materials and equipment. Handle preparation of work schedules, progress monitoring and preparation of accomplishment report for completed works and ensure that all works are in compliance with the quality standards and specification.
 
21.       GANG LEADER (HEADMAN): Responsible in leading both skilled and unskilled labourers under your team.
 
22.       CONCRETE POURING: Fill and use hand-operated cement, mixers, build forms for poured concrete, evenly spread mixture and finish surfaces with trowels and brooms, ensure the cement mixture is safety handled, properly poured, and finished in an attractive manner free of cracks and imperfections.
 
23.       PRECAST WORKS: Assist in the construction, erection, repair and modification of precast concrete structures work with wood, metal and/or concrete materials using a variety of hand and power tools
 
24.       WELDER: Performs welding operations at construction site working under the direction of the foreman welding
 
25.       WORKSHOP MECHANIC: Must be fully familiar with the functions of equipment/vehicle and maintenance/repair on day to day activities.
 
26.       WORKSHOP ELECTRICIAN: Responsible in planning, lay-outing, installation, modification, updgrading of low/medium voltage electrical equipment and systems and conduct repair of electrical equipment using hands tools, power tools and test equipment in conformance with the applicable quality standards and specifications
 
27.       WORKSHOP LABOUR/HELPER: Help Welders/Mechanics/Electricians by performing duties requiring less skill including supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment
 
28.       TOWER CRANE OPERATOR: Directs all daily functions and maintenance of assigned equipment
 
29.       FORK LIFT OPERATOR: You will direct all daily functions and maintenance of assigned forklift
 
30.       PAYLOADER OPERATOR: You will direct all daily functions and maintenance of assigned pay-loader
 
31.       MOBILE CRANE OPERATOR: You will direct all daily functions and maintenance assigned Pay-loader
32.       LIFTING PLATFORM OPERATOR: You will drive, operate and configure the mobile aerial work platform to best position, carrying personnel, associated tools and materials required to complete tasks at elevated work locations.
 
33.       SCAFFOLDER – BUILDER: You are responsible for all scaffolding works on site for commercial and residential building construction including general housekeeping
 
34.       SITE ATTENDANT – MECHANICAL: You will supervise and lead mechanical crews, ensuring that all aspects of performance and work  are in compliance with project specifications and completed within planned time and budget constraints
 
35.       SITE ATTENDANT – ELECTRICAL: You will supervise and lead electrical crews, ensuring that all aspects of performance and work are in compliance with project specifications and completed within planned time and budget constraints
 
36.       SITE ATTENDANT-ELV: Supervise and lead ELV crews, ensuring that all aspects of performance and work are in compliance with project specifications and completed within planned time and budget constraints
 
37.       DIGITAL PRINTER OPERATOR: You will review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing, monitor quality of job output for image quality, operate high resolution, variable print imaging equipment, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under the constraints of production schedules and pressures.
 
38.       CAD ENGINEERS: You will be responsible for designing products using computer aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, Pro/ENGINEER, and Solid-WORKS create and test prototypes, and oversee other drafters.
 
39.       SENIOR HSE OFFICER: You will promote, implement and enforce safety practices as stipulated under gazetted Authorities Regulations. You will also coordinate work issues with sub-contractor, implementing work programs to ensure works are in compliance with required quality, cost, time frame and safety regulations
 
40.       HSE OFFICER: You will assist the Senior HSE officer to promote, implement and enforce safety practices as stipulated under gazetted Authorities Regulations. You will also assist to coordinate work issues with sub- contractor, implementing work programs to ensure works are in compliance with required quality, cost, time frame and safety regulations
 
41.       STORE OFFICER: You are responsible for the proper storage of all tools and good, maintain perpetual inventory records, maintain up-to-date records via bin cards, etc. and control the issuance of supplies, equipment and tools
 
42.       ASSISTANT STORE OFFICER: You will assist the Store Officer to store all tools and goods, maintain perpetual inventory records, maintain up to-date records via bin cards, etc and carry out any other responsibility as may assigned from time to time
 
43.       QUALITY OFFICER: You will ensure that the quality of work on site is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards
 
44.       QUALITY INSPECTOR – CIVIL WORKS: You will ensure, by physical monitoring, that the quality of civil work on site is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards.
 
45.       QUALITY INSPECTOR-ELECTRICAL: You will ensure, by physical monitoring, that the quality of electrical works on site is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards.
 
46.       QUALITY INSPECTOR – MECHANICAL: You will ensure, by physical monitoring, that the quality of mechanical works on site is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards.
 
47.       ASSISTANT PURCHASING OFFICER: You will assist in executing local purchasing activities for materials in order to provide effective and efficient procurement services to meet the needs of the company. You will also carry out any other activities as may be assigned from time to time.
 
48.       ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR: You will assistant the Senior Quantity Survey in managing all quantities relating to projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. To seek to minimize the costs of project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality
 
49.       IT OFFICER – JUNIOR: You will assist the senior IT Officer in the implementation of company software programs, to include, data and entry, documentation updates and organization.
 
50.       ACCOUNTANT – JUNIOR: You will assist the Senior Accountant to carry out standard accounting duties, which include payables, receivables, fixed assets, banking insurance project accounting, general ledger, payroll and any other duties that may be assigned
 
51.       TAX DUTIES OFFICER: Responsible for keeping businesses compliant with various local, state, and federal tax regulations, implement measures and develop policies for dealing with various areas relating to taxes research and oversee audits and effectively manage the tax risk (corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing) of all entitles.
 
  1. CASHIER: You will manage all the cash transactions on site and carry out any other assignment that may be given to you from time to time.
