VACANCIES FOR THE 2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR IN MEADOW HALL

Meadow Hall (M- hall) is in its twelfth year of inception, and provides education for children from the ages of 18 months to 16 years in a professional atmosphere with strong moral code and values. It is mission of the school to provide every child of Meadow Hall with excellent and wholesome education.

The school is dedicated to encouraging each individual to achieve their best within the caring family environment.

M-Hall seeks highly qualified staff to fill the following positions:

1.       SEN  teacher

2.       English teacher, first language and experienced in IGCSE

3.       Igbo teacher experienced in preparing students for WAEC

4.        Business Studies and accounts teachers

5.       Chemistry teacher experienced in IGCSE and WAEC

6.       Upper Primary teachers with experience in preparing children for common entrance

Good spoken English is essential for all applicants.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Be enthusiastic, passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate a genuine care for the individual students

·         Prepared to plan, develop, and teach programs that cater for the needs of each individual child in their care,

·         Ability to incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies

·         Able to maintain open communications with parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment

·         Keep abreast of educational development

·         Keep accurate and updated ongoing records and prepare reports

Basic Requirements:

We are looking for applicants who:

·         Have excellent interpersonal skills'

·         Have appropriate qualifications to support their application

·         Have excellent organizational skills

·         Have at least 3 years experience in teaching

·         Are registered with the TRCN

·         Have adequate ICT skills

In addition to this, M-Hall is looking to recruit:

ICT Manager whose duties will include but not to be limited to: Manage and direct the effective provision of information system and technology to the whole school, promote best practice in the development of information systems working with "users" in all departments of the organization to ensure the use of consistent, high standards in the management of information provide support to all users listening to concerns and identifying issues, finding and implementing solutions,

Dining Facilities Manger: Responsible for management of dining room service. Assure a high standard of appearance, hospitality and service in personnel and cleanliness of dining room. Supervise and train dining room staff manage within budgetary restraints. Develop and Implement programs

Librarian: who will be responsible for providing library and research services and maintenance of the library and its collections. Establish and implement library and information policies and procedures. Develop and manage convenient, accessible library and information services and other duties.
