Project Manager

Job description

Project Manager's responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following,
1. Manage the execution of the project
2. Review existing Project Management procedures to identify adequacy for this Project, amend where required and seek internal approval of all changes. In particular establish, monitor and maintain up to date HSES and Quality Plans including preparation of specific safety case.
3. Identify and assemble appropriate Project Management Team to successfully manage and execute the project whilst taking due regard of the current Alliance organisation and support services available.
4. Maintain a project risk register and develop mitigation plans for all major identified risks.
5. Maintain Project budgets, identify and raise Approval-For-Expenditure requests (AFE’s), and monitor the same.
6. Carry out monthly Forecast At Completion (FAC) cost estimation exercises.
7. Coordinate constructability reviews for offshore installation and hook up.
8. Coordinate commissioning activity planning.
9. Ensure Antan design adequately caters for Production requirements in terms of operability and obtain Production acceptance of same.
10. Liaise closely with Production department on all aspects of the offshore execution including Permits to Work, shutdowns, and work coordination to ensure that the Project is completed and formally handed over on schedule.
11. Provide input to Technical Work Programmes and annual budgets as part of the annual business cycle.
12. Provide monthly reports in accordance with departmental reporting requirements.
13. Prepare Project close out and “lessons learnt” report
14. Full project delivery in accordance with agreed overall schedule and budget, and to level of quality as required by Company standards.
15. Both NAPIMS and AFE approvals secured ahead of making commitments, including any revisions.
16. Project close-out report to be issued no later than 3 months after start-up.
17. Formally close-out all contracts within 6 months of Project start-up.
18. Directly accountable for the execution of the total Project within the overall approved Internal and NAPIMS budgets.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 25 years experience in project, engineering and construction management, with at least 15 years recently at project management level in the offshore upstream oil and gas industry.
2. Previous experience of working in Nigeria is preferred but not essential.
3. Previous experience working internationally is a prerequisite.
4. Managed multidiscipline teams of diverse cultural backgrounds.
5. Computer literate (including sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MSProject ).

Completions Engineer

Job description Completions Engineer
  • Collate offset drilling and completion data for use in planning.
  • Ensure the database is properly updated and useful for obtaining completion planning information.
  • Review offset completion information and provide this in an organized format for use in well completion planning.
  • Write completion programs for various well types for review of Senior Completion Engineer.
  • Compile well completion diagrams and ensure end of well completion information is properly saved.
  • Partake in the organization of planning meetings, CWOP’s as required.
  • Monitor completion performance and provide benchmark statistics to ensure
    completions are time and cost effective.
  • Provide charts of well completion performance for daily review, and
    engineering reports for the company as well as reports for NAPIMS and DPR.
  • Supervise completion operations at the rig site as required.
Accountable for:
  • Ensure proper and detailed research of offset data for completion of
    wells.
  • Provide completion programs for wells.
  • Ensure all completion info is tracked and database properly updated.
  • Ensure accurate completion performance data is provided for records.
  • Ensure completion performance data are updated regularly as required.
  • Ensure all required reports on well completion implementation are
    distributed to relevant persons daily.
  • Ensure completion component of “End of Well” reports are written,
    detailed and accurate.
Requirements Completions Engineer
  • BS Degree in Engineering
  • Member Society of Petroleum Engineers. Attended industry courses in various aspects of well engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Good aptitude for engineering. Good grades from engineering school.
  • Excellent technical writing ability.

FPSO Construction Engineer

Job description

FPSO Construction Engineer's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following,·
Project controls, administration.
· Review and analyse planning updates and critical path for all activities related to Nigerian Content
packages Construction. Detect all possible delays and constraints and propose remedial action. Collect progress activities from different yards and prepare weekly/monthly management report of
construction.
· Monitor closely weight control report mainly NC modules and set-up system of monitoring at site.
Interfaces
· Coordinate with the interface coordinator and other project engineers for interface management (provide
information required by others and takes into account information from others).
· Follow up delivery schedule of Nigerian Content pressure vessels and inform any area of concern.
· Follow up ICSS interfaces for NC modules.
· Work closely on the interfaces points with Main Yard Representative and Integration Leader – integration
works.
Construction and associated pre-commissioning activities.
· Provide input to ensure good quality of the works: safe design and operability of facilities.
· Assist validation weighing procedure and follow-up the weighing activities at yard.
· Maintain good relationships with contractors, being relatively flexible, proactive but also strict when
necessary to achieve the objectives of the project.
· Maintain good communication with all yards (yard representative).
· Assist yard for any external technical assistance and interface, such as DEV/TEC, other EGINA packages
HSEQ.
· Attend Yard Safety tours at least once a month.
· To stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings.
· To participate to local programs or initiatives to improve HSSE performances.
· To report to Management on any issue they may face or observe and propose way of improvement.
· To also take care of colleagues safety and behavior without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary.
· To carefully assess hazards and risks when changes occur.
· To give his own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy).

Requirements

Professional experience (number of years): 10 years of relevant construction experience in Oil and Gas production projects
Ability to work as part of a team
Language: English fluent
