Drilling Engineer
My leading Drilling Client is looking for an experienced Drilling engineer to join the team in Explorations and Production on a residential contract based in Nigeria – 1 year renewable.
You will be responsible to perform well and completion planning in accordance with the Well Delivery Process and to provide planning schedules for all drilling programs.
This role is involving a full understanding of design software, well control, workover drilling. As the drilling Engineer, you will be reporting to the Rig Manager and will be responsible for the following services:
- Extensive operation exposure
- Design drilling/completion and work-over programs
- Review with engineer of End of Well reports.
- Acquire planning data from geology, reservoir engineering or geophysics as necessary.
- Provide detailed Scope of Work for drilling services.
- Drilling Engineer will provide engineering support/advise to the rig on program implementation.
The suitable consultant with have at least 8-10 years’ experience as a drilling engineer within Oil and Gas industry and an excellent knowledge in running rig operation
For this position, preference will be given to candidates with Local Experience
