VACANCIES
A leading indigenous manufacturing pharmaceutical company requires the services of forward looking, innovative and resourceful professionals to fill some vacant positions which have come up as a result of strategic growth patterns. SENIOR QUALITY CONTROL PHARMACIST
In this hands-on role, the candidate will hands all aspects of internal quality control during the manufacturing of pharmaceutical and will undertake quality control tests to support all
manufacturing activities.
The candidate must show demonstrable knowledge of, and bias for, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical and pharmacokinetics.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum B.Pharm (Hons) PharmD with current PCN license to practice. Higher qualifications would be an advantage
  • At least 3 years industrial experience in a reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company and solid experience working in a cGMP compliant analytical laboratory
  • Diagnostic trouble shooting skills and instrument maintenance skills
  • Knowledge and ability to work with HPLC would be an advantage
  • Computer literate with strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Self-motivated and equally comfortable working alone or as part of a team, used to meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing circumstances
QUALITY CONTROL PHARMACIST
The successful candidate will work in a team, reporting to the Senior Quality Control Pharmacist, performing analysis of samples using various instrumental & wet chemistry techniques by following the company’s testing methods, performing equipment checks and calibrations, ensure QC samples are completed and recorded accurately and assisting with investigations as needed.
Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate their previous laboratory experience, preferably within a GMP environment. We will however consider an exceptional newly qualified candidate who meets all other selection criteria.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum B.Pharm (Hons)/PharmD with current PCN license to practice
  • 1 year cognate experience
  • Computer literate with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • A multi-tasking individual who can work at pace whilst maintaining quality
  • Proactive whilst able to use own initiative
  • Excellent organizational skills.
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside the Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will involve budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, month end accounts, process improvement and ad hoc project work as required. The candidate will provide a high quality support service to the Sales Manager, to manage, develop and improve the co-management information systems. We are looking for a self-starter who can add real value in the challenging but rewarding role.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of B.Sc/HND Accounts and preferably ACA or part qualified. Any additional professional qualification in accounting would be an advantage.
  • At least three yearsexperience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is essential
  • Strong Excel/data management skills are essential. Working knowledge of computerized accounting packages is a must
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong advisory and communication skills
  • Must have a track record for meeting deadlines and be an excellent team player
MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVES
A key link between our Company and healthcare professionals, the successful candidates will generate demand and work strategically to increase the awareness and use of our products.
Based in a specific geographical location the candidates will report to Area Managers. They will also make presentations and organize group events for healthcare professionals, a well as working with contacts on a one-to-one basis. Candidates will have a strong customer focus-it is important that you offer the highest level of service- and ability to develop long-term relationships to benefit the business. Importantly you will have a strong work ethic with the desire to be the best!
Qualifications and Experience
  • A good bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or Biochemistry
  • 1-2 years’ experience as a medical representative with a reputable pharmaceutical company
  • Ability to research the product market and build up comprehensive product knowledge
  • Good knowledge of markets within specific territories
  • Strong computer literacy and presentation skills
  • Excellent selling and negotiation skills]
  • Ability to work on own, using initiative, and as part of a team
  • Current Driver’s license is essential
SALES CANVASSERS
We are looking for motivated/driven people who wish to take on this role. You will be required to cold call potential customer in order to generate new business opportunities. We expect our canvassers to give accurate quality advice to potential customers.
In order to succeed in this role you will have an OND qualification and, be confident with door knocking and leaflet dropping. Interpersonal skills are a must.
