Project Coordinator Vacancy


VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Rice Post-Harvest Processing and Marketing Pilot Project in Nasarawa and Niger States (RIPMAPP) supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) contributes to improvement of quality of domestic rice in Nasarawa and Niger States through conducting various training programs. The Project Team represented by IC NET Limited, Japan, is looking for experienced and qualified Nigerian national and/or resident Japanese to fill the position of the Project mentioned below: 


Position:
Project Coordinator: 1 person
He/She will work at the project office in Abuja and Lafia, Narassawa State.

Main Duty and Responsibility
1.       To assist JICA experts in preparation and implementation of surveys, training program, seminars, workshops and other activities
2.       To collect and organize documents, information and data related to the Project activities.
3.       To support the operation of the Project Office
4.       To assist in schedule management of the Project
5.       To assist in accounting work
6.       To assist in document preparation
7.       To perform any other duties as required including secretariat work

Requirements (Qualification and Experience)
1.       Hold bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2.       Should have more than three years working experience with an international organization
3.       Should have excellent ability to speak, read and write in English
4.       Should have appropriate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
5.       Have knowledge of accounting

Contract duration
One year from April in 2012. The contract would be extended up to three years.
