Head of Maintenance (Mechanical) (HM001)
Job Description
As part of its expansion and development programmes, our client, a multinational and leading player in agro-allied manufacturing industry (situated in the Eastern part of Nigeria) is looking for experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individuals to apply for this position.
Title: Head of Maintenance (Mechanical) (HM001)
Responsibilities
Ensure plant and vehicles are maintained in the most effective manner and routine maintenance planned and schedule to maximize downtime
Monitor the use of spare parts, maintenance supplies and initiates reordering when necessary
Establish and manages an effective maintenance program for all equipment, tools and vehicles of the company
Advises the Management on maintenance and technical issues
Ensure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost effective manner
Maintains and updates operating and training manual for the maintenance department
Review the operation of the plants and machineries constantly in order to minimize unplanned downtime
Maintains safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
Performs other legal duties as may be required by the General Manager (Operations)
Qualification
He must have a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
He shall possess a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
Industry: Manufacturing JObs in Nigeria
Specialization: Top Management
Minimum Educational Qualification: Degree
Minimum Experience Required: 10 Year(s)
