Summary of Responsibilities
The central warehouse manager will be responsible for managing the various elements of the supply chain in such a manner that ensures goods and other inventory items are transported, stored and delivered on time and in good condition to the stores and regional warehouse hubs. He/she will define, develop, implement and manage best-in-class policies, processes and procedures which ensure the company’s supply chain is consistently able to deliver on its performance and
risk management objectives.
Requirements
Strong analytical skills are required, and a basic understanding of accounting, fixed asset management and materials and cost management.
Educational Qualifications/Experience:
1) Minimum of a university degree or its equivalent
2) Minimum of 5 years working experience in a Supply Chain function
