multinational electrical engineering company recruiting mechanical technician

A multinational electrical engineering company, that is, into telecoms, transformers and cables manufacturing seeks to employ competent and experienced hands to fill the position of a mechanical technician who will perform diverse and complex assignments in support of product development and manufacturing.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years in the manufacturing of transformer
• Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
• Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
• Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information

Responsibilities
• Setting up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests,
• Carrying out experiments, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting
• Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and compliance to performance specifications
• Provide technical assistance to customers, field service personnel, or suppliers

Remuneration: Negotiable

Location: Agbara, Lagos
