Orion Group recruiting Lead Instrumentation Engineer

Our Client has a vacancy for a Lead Instrument Engineer, based in Nigeria. This is a contract position of initially 6 months duration.
Role:
Management of the Instrument discipline team.
To achieve project completion to the project specifications on schedule.
Accountable for the quality of engineering deliverables.
Promote the development of the Nigerian workforce.
Provide engineering guidance.

Qualifications/Training:

Essential:
ONC in an Engineering related subject
Recognised O&G discipline background.
IT literate [Excel/Word/PowerPoint etc.]
BOSIET/Approved Offshore Medical - essential for an offshore position.
Desirable:
HNC in Electrical Engineering.

Experience
Essential:
Demonstrable experience of fulfilling a senior engineer role with a proven background of delivery.
Conversant with construction project management process.
Demonstrable experience in the supervision of personnel and team working.
Good knowledge of Natural Resources related safe working practise and procedure.
Desirable:
Demonstrable offshore experience in similar role.
