PROGRAMME ANALYST (HIV/AIDS)


LOCATION: ABUJA, NIGERIA

EXPECTED DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT: 364 DAYS


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


EDUCATION:
A Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant Social Science or development related field or relevant work experience


EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years experience in the development/design and management of HIV and AIDS, gender programmes.
Additional years of experience will be an advantage.
Sound understanding of HIV and AIDS as a development issue in Nigeria.
At least seven years experience in the development/design and management of HIV and AIDS, gender programmes.
Demonstrated experience in engaging and working on issues of poverty, development and gender.
Demonstrated experience of engaging and working on issues of GFATM, MDGs, and development planning.
Demonstrated ability and experience in research and documentation.
Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational and negotiation skills.
Experience in working well with partners in government, civil society and the private sector and the donor community.
A track record of influencing policy and decision making.
Some experience with international organizations or United Nations systems preferable


LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Fluency in written and Spoken English is essential.
Fluency in One National Language is Essential
