We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Lagos


Job Description
What you’ll do:

• Our Engineering team is lean, yet effective. As a Java Developer, Your main responsibilities will include architecting solutions, working on new features and performance improvements for products, developing and finding solutions to customer specific issues and enhancements, working closely with the team towards achieving consistency across application layers.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform development of Java and Spring framework
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Participate in the project evaluation and provide recommendations for future activities

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of First degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other related fields
• Good problem solving skills
• Relevant background in developing Java applications, good knowledge of Java core concepts, web services (REST or SOAP APIs) and application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, etc).
• Experience with AGILE development tools & processes (GIT, SVN, Jenkins, bug tracking applications)
• Relevant knowledge of database systems and the SQL language
• Knowledge of system administration and networking for Windows server and Linux based systems will be an added advantage.
