Position Summary
- Business writer working with multi-disciplinary teams of professionals to develop client-centric proposals for KPMG
Roles and Responsibilities
- Write and edit proposal documents that are focused and innovative
- Work with client service professionals and subject matter experts in identifying benefits and value-add for clients
- Manage the proposal process, organize kick-off meetings and deliver within the required timelines
- Work with other National Sales and Marketing groups (i.e. Creative Services and Research) to reach proposal objectives in an efficient manner
- Ensure that proposal documents meet RFP requirements and are KPMG Brand & Regulatory compliant
- Provide direction to Creative Services on the development and integration of graphics throughout the production process
- Oversee the production process, including soft copy for electronic transmission and/or printing
- Assist in the preparation of clients/bidders meetings and oral presentation materials as required within proposal opportunities
- Undertake internal team debriefs after a proposal submission and support the external debrief program
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a Second Class (Lower Degree)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in proposals development.
- A minimum of 5 credits in one sitting (Mathematics and English inclusive)
- Strong planning and execution skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Business Writing Skills
- Ability to liaise and interact with people at all levels of seniority within KPMG
- Commitment to seeing projects through
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and managing heavy workload
- Research and analytical skills
- Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
- Technology appreciation, including a working understanding of MS Office Suite especially: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
