Fuelling Manager (Diesel) at IPT Powertech

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fuelling Manager (Diesel)

Responsibilities
The diesel manager will carry out the following functions:

  • Oversea general sourcing and distribution of diesel to all telecom sites under our management.
  • Design an efficient sourcing strategy for diesel.
  • Create a working fueling schedule to be followed by Team leads, suppliers, and site guards.
  • Attend to on calls for emergency fueling calls.
  • Ensure Escalation Management counts on fuel shortages are maintained at zero
  • Ensure all relevant documentation and set procedures are adhered to.
  • Monitor fuel consumptions and profitability
  • Daily reporting of status of fuel on all Backbone sites.
  • Reconcile amounts of diesel paid for and delivered by vendors
  • Processing of payment for new consignments.
  • Ensure continuous stock review to avoid stock depletion below stock limit.
  • Make sure proper documentation is done.
  • Alternative power supply management
  • Prepare monthly work schedule
  • Hybrid and PHCN status reporting
  • Quality Management System.
  • Ensure conformity with the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure products supplied are within the approved specifications.
Requirement/Qualification
  • A degree in Procurement or Purchasing and Supply Management or other related fields.
  • At least ten (10) years related experience.
  • Telecoms experience of at least five (5) years.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS packages especially MS Excel.
  • A strategic thinker and self-starter.
  • Excellent reputation for integrity and judgment.
  • Analytical, organization, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
