Duties
- Ensure requests from Departments are properly labeled and referenced.
- Manage Suppliers’ database and tender process
- Background Check on quality of products/ services of Suppliers
- Negotiate price and product specification
- Follow up and close out international order placements
- Monitoring orders and purchase orders up to delivery
- Track and manage order and reorder of P/S as requested
- Ensure suppliers are checked regularly to maintain Company standard
- Ensure effective up to date record keeping and system data
- Line reporting and functional linkage
- Reports to the Purchase Manager

Computer knowledge

Education

Experience
- Marine Engineering Company Working Background
- Must have strong knowledge of procurement & costing principles related sourcing of components.
- Must have technical ability to understand marine technical application of what is being procured
- Experience in tracking and inventory management
- Previous Experience in an international environment
Languages
- Fluent in English
