Internal Auditor
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must possess OND or HND in Accounting from an accredited accounting school with minimum of 2 (two) years experience of work in a reputable organization.
Must be proficient in ICT.
Duties of the Internal Auditor
The Internal Auditor shall perform the following functions and report directly to the National President:
Review the accounting system and related internal control;
Carries out the implementation of the accounting system;
Examines the financial statement and operating information for Management;
Reviews the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of operation;
Reviews the implementation of corporate policy, plan and procedures;
Carry out special investigation such as fraud, etc;
Carry out test of transaction and balance.
Undertake any other assignment given to him by the National Secretary or National President.
Conditions of engagement.
The position is permanent and pensionable.
The successful candidate shall be entitled to 21 (twenty one) days (not working days) of annual leave in each year of service.
Salary and Other Conditions of Service.
The Internal Auditor shall be paid a gross salary of N780,000.00 (seven hundred' and eighty thousand naira) only per annum.
This package includes basic salary and allowances for housing, transport, furniture and meal subsidy.
He shall be entitled to medical care in the approved hospital where the staff members of the Institute are registered under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
