Finance Controller

Description :

Job Objectives:

1. To manage the smooth running of the financial operations of the company

2. Ensure adherence to the accounting deliverables of the company


Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive the Finance Operations in designated or owned division/company

2. Create processes, policies and associated


3. Consolidate all accounts and returns from all outlets according to laid – down procedures

4. Prepare final accounts by ensuring all account schedules agree with the General ledger balances

5. Ensure all remittances to external regulators as expected

6. Vet all financial transactions and ensure they meet our standard reporting systems

7. Ensure a balance of all stocks; purchasing of stocks, warehousing and utilization

8. Monitor the CAPEX and OPEX expenses while ensuring adequate compliance to financial prudence ethics.

9. Analysis of all expenditure into the respective expense type

10. Monthly review of accounting inputs to secure as fair as possible valid, accurate and timely account balances

11. Assist in extracting, collating and consolidation information needed to generate the company’s annual operating budget.

12. Coordinate the entire Finance team, ensuring they deliver the value required of the team

Qualifications :

Educational Qualifications/Experience:

1. Minimum of university degree or HND Accounting, Finance (and or other recognized Professional Accounting Qualification ACCA or ACA)

2. Minimum of 5-7 years post professional qualification experience.

3. Working experience in FMCG, Manufacturing or Agricultural industry.

4. Knowledge of complex Food Manufacturing Accounting System would be an added advantage.

5. Ability to travel within Nigeria.

6. Not more than 40 yrs of age
