CWG seeks to fill the role of a good content writer who can help generate the written materials that CWG needs to reaffirm her brand
The person must have a flair for content writing / editing for websites, magazines, directories, blogs with an understanding of latest social media trends and appropriate writing styles.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Writing, editing and proofreading text:
• Write feature articles for Digital Edge, CWG’s newsletters.
• Write occasional press releases
• Write 20-30 social media posts a week
• Assist in editing articles for Digital Edge, fleshing out with additional interviews and writing when needed
• Liaison with other professionals such as printers, photographers and artistes

Required Skills:

• He/She can write content with good speed, grammatically correct and well researched
• Perseverance
• A good grasp of narrative
• Awareness of audience
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and influence all levels of management.
• Proven editing skills
• Content/copy editing skills
• A good team player

The Person:

• This is a critical role that requires a candidate who is proactive, creative, action-oriented and willing to immerse him/herself in CWG activities.
• The candidate should be a curious, driven and enthusiastic reporter who can cut through jargon and find the compelling factor in any subject.
• A go-getter with ability to perform duties in a highly functional, high-quality, quick turnaround manner, with minimal direction.
• Must be willing and able to attend events during evening hours and weekends when necessary Some travel may be required.
• Demonstrated active involvement in social networking - actively demonstrates best practices via participation in a wide variety of social media

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of any discipline with at least 3 years experience.
