Must be resident in Port Harcourt

A  Learning Industrial Safety Training and consultancy services outfit with head office in Port Harcourt, requires for immediate employment a high-flyer Male Safety Trainer. Applicants must be resident in Port Harcourt and must be able to teach the following safety courses:

1.                  Introduction to Health, Safety & Environment

2.                  Personal Protective Equipment

3.                  Accident Investigation & reporting

4.                  HSE Management System

5.                  Hazards and Effects Management Process

6.                  Job Hazard Analysis

7.                  Occupational Health & Hygiene

8.                  The permit to work system

9.                  Emergency planning

10.              Lifting & carrying

11.              Journey Management (Transportation Safety)

12.              Fire Safety

13.              First Aid & CPR

14.              Environmental Protection/Waste Management

15.              Laws Relating to Safety

16.              Safety Officer’s Duties & Responsibilities

17.              Confined Space Safety

18.              Industrial Security/Asset Protection

19.              Risk management

20.              Crane Rigging, Etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

21.              Applicants must be residents in Port Harcourt

22.              Must be intellectually inclined and must possess a good first University degree

23.              Must be a highly trained and experienced safety professional/trainer

24.              Proven track record of Industrial Safety course development and delivery

25.              Must possess excellent communication skills, and preferably in his 30⁰
