Our Client, a reputable International Development Finance Organization that finances and invests in microfinance institutions, co-operatives and small to medium-sized enterprises in developing countries aimed at positive change, requires a diligent and honest Project Officer in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible to:
• Analyzing business proposals and feasibility studies.
• Analyzing financial statements to extract performance indices and financial ratios for investment decisions.
• Preparation of loan documents in line with in-house standards and requirements.
• Building a strong portfolio of quality risk assets.
• Attractive and retaining new, high qualify customers, using a variety of communication channels including e-mail, road-shows, exhibitions, personal visits and so on.
• Representing the country office and networking with relevant organizations.
Qualifications
1) A minimum of a very good first degree or equivalent in accounting, Business Administration.
2) In addition, candidates must have either ACA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA
3) MBA, MBF, M.Sc, ACs OR ACIB will be an added advantage
Skills & Experience
1) Excellent IT and exceptional communication skills are required.
2) Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years experience in Credit, Relationship or Project Management in banking or related industry.
3) Age: 28-40 years.
