DIVISIONAL HEADS
The Rivers State Government is
pursuing vigorously a plan to vastly enhance development in several key sectors
in the State, including Education and Healthcare. One of the strategic agencies
of the State Government helping to complement the current administration’s
efforts in this regard, would like to strengthen its project delivery
capability by recruiting seasoned professionals and administrators. It has
mandated SAMUELSON to identify experienced, versatile, result-oriented and IT
proficient individuals to take up new positions in the organisation.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

A
University Degree with a minimum of second class division from a reputable
institution. However, possession of a postgraduate degree and /or professional
qualification will be a district advantage
·
IT/IS
proficiency and project management skills – A must
·
Excellent
oral and written communication skills in English
·
High
professionalism teamwork and excellent leadership skills.

QUALIFICATION SKILLS
& EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
|
Divisional Head, Project Monitoring
|
A good fist degree
in and a post-graduate qualification will be required. Certification and or
International Training in Project Management will be a definite advantage.
Membership of
professional bodies and international experience will give qualified
candidates added advantage.
At least 13 years
post-qualification experience Programme and Project Monitoring and Evaluation
within the Development Community and or Healthcare/Education Projects will be
preferred.

Divisional Head, Corporate Services
|
Minimum of a first
degree in Business Administration, Management Science, Mass Communication or
relate subject.
Possession of an
MBA, or relevant Post Graduate Degrees and related Professional Membership of
ICA or its equivalent will be an advantage.
Minimum of 13 years
of relevant work experience; with 8 years in Administrative, Financial and
Contract-related Duties out of which, 5 years must be in a Managerial
capacity.

Divisional Head, Finance & Investments
|
A first degree
preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics,
Actuarial Science or related discipline and a professional qualification such
as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is required, Membership of ht chartered
Institute of Taxation of Nigeria will be desired.
Minimum of 13 years
cognate experience with at least 4 years not below the position of Senior
Manager in a financial institution or reputable organisation. Excellent Asset
Management & Analytical/Quantitative Decision Making Skills will be
required.
Candidate must have
overseen in Accounts Department in a reputable organisation.
Familiarity with donor
and Local Contractual Procedures will be an advantage.

Divisional Head, Strategic Planning/Funds
Mobilisation
|
A University Degree
in Economics, Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Geography or
any related discipline.
A track record in Strategic
Planning, Financial Management; Business Development and Investment Promotion
and or Facilitation.
At least 13 years
proven experience working with International Donor Agencies and or Attracting
and Managing Funds will be a distinct advantage.
All candidates for
this position must have Exceptional Relationship Management Skills and
Outstanding Business Development and Networking Capabilities. Ability to
Package Marketable Proposals will also be required.
