STRENGTHENING INTEGRATED DELIVERY OF HIV/AIDS SERVICES (SIDHAS)
                                    JOB OPPORTUNITIES               
Under the auspices of the SIDHAS project whose objective is to reduce the burden of HIV/AIDS in targeted areas of Nigeria through strengthened delivery of high quality comprehensive HIV/AIDS services that are sustainable for long-term, Howard University PACE Center leads the project efforts to promote Pharmacy Best Practices by providing technical leadership in both at the health facility and community levels. We are hereby seeking qualified candidates registered with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria to fill the under listed positions.
  1. Zonal Senior Pharmacy Specialist - 1 position
  2. Pharmacy Specialist                         - 5 position

ZONAL Senior Pharmacy specialist
The senior Pharmacy Specialist will provide technical and programmatic support in strengthening pharmacy systems and pharmacists’ capacity on pharmacy best practices including the delivery of pharmaceutical care in HIV/AIDS and TB services in health facilities and at the community level in collaboration with the Government of Nigeria staff. S/he will coordinate Pharmacy based activities and provide supervision for HU-PACE Pharmacy specialists within the zone

Minimum Requirement Standards: B Pharm/PharmD with 5-7 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy development programs; or B.Pharm plus MSc/MPH in public health or related field with 25 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international development programs; or PhD in Clinical Pharmacy, or similar degree with 12 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international development programs.
Pharmacy Specialist
The Pharmacy specialist will provide technical and programmatic support to implement the integration or quality care and support activities with primary focus on pharmaceutical care in HIV/AIDS and TB service delivery S/he will support capacity building to the pharmacy staff to implement quality services in these areas within the health facilities and community. S/he will report to the Senior Pharmacy Specialist and the State Program Coordinator

Minimum Requirement Standards: B Pharm/Pharm D and 2-4 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy development programs, or B.Pharm plus MSc/MPH in public health or related field, and 1-2 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international development programs

Job Circumstances:
v     The job involves at least 30% travel at short notice.
v     HU-PACE has a competitive compensation package
v     All positions require the ability to use key computing applications e.g. MS Office Suite. Knowledge of different database e.g. DHIS or LAMIS is a plus
v     Excellent command of written and spoken English
v     Strong interpersonal and communication skills
v     Willingness to extend working hours to meet deadlines and at short notice
v     Ability to function effectively in multi-disciplinary teams to produce excellent results under pressure
