Our client is one of Africa’s leading real estate companies. The Company offers various services including property sales and marketing, independent account for re-sale, real estate investment consultancy. Real estate portfolio management, mortgage advice consultancy, property development, and development consultancy.

As part of initiatives to strengthen its operations and consolidate its position as a market leader, the Company has identified the need to recruit dynamic professionals into the following positions:

General Manager, Programme Management (ES0032)
Location: Lagos

Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight for the land acquisition and construction services functions of the Company. A key component of this will be to coordinate and oversee the entire project and property development activities undertaken by the Company in particular, he/she will coordinate internal infrastructure construction and building companies to deliver state-of the-are edifices and estates. Key responsibilities will be to:

Provide leadership and guidance for all projects, form the conceptual phase through to the implementation, commissioning and management phases.
Develop annual strategic plans and budgets for the Programme Management Division of the Company.
Supervise the development of detailed and quality designs, as well as work-plans for all infrastructure and building projects.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
A good first degree in Civil/Structural Engineering of Architecture from a reputable institution. An MBA, a post-graduate degree in Estate Management or a related Engineering discipline will be an advantage.

A minimum of fifteen (5) years’ in a senior management position.
Practical experience in real estate and construction, as well as excellent project management and planning skills.
Working knowledge of infrastructure design concepts, principles and techniques.
Strong entrepreneurial outlook, quantitative and commercial knowledge
Excellent leadership, negotiating, relationship-building team-working, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.

General Manager, Sales and Marketing (ES0033)
Location: Lagos
Reporting to the Managing Director/CEO, the ideal candidate will have primary responsibility for the Company’s sales and marketing activities, including product innovation, marketing and customer retention, inherent in this is the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies with a view to increasing the company’s market share and profitability. Key responsibilities will be to:
Supervise the formulation and implementation of the Company’s overall sales and marketing strategies.
Manage and deepen customer relationship with existing and prospective customers in order to increase profitability, growth, increase in market share, and customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Coordinate the development of innovative product and service categories, as well as identify new markets, in order to maximise sales and marketing opportunities.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
A good first degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution. Possession of higher degree(s) in Marketing or Business Administration or other relevant professional qualification(s) will be an advantage.
A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ relevant work experience, including at least five (5) years’ in a senior management position.
Demonstrable experience in marketing, channel development management, pricing and profitability and strategic planning
Proven business development skills and strong entrepreneurial outlook.
Strong customer service orientation and knack for breaking new grounds.
Excellent leadership, negotiating, relationship-building, team-working, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.

Business Development Officers
Locations: Abuja (ES0034A) and Lagos (ES0034L)
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, ideal candidates will be responsible for implementing the sales and marketing strategies to achieve asset goals and objectives of the Company. In particular, they will have direct accountability for coordinating and executing all sales and marketing initiatives and activities of the Company in order to maximise opportunities for growth and profitability. Key responsibilities will be to:

Provide support in the execution of sales strategies and tactics by managing key customer alliances, as well as selling products and initiatives for retail and co-operative accounts.
Implement market penetration plans and execute the Company’s marketing programme to ensure the attainment of sales targets.
Assist in the development of unique products and services for target customers in the market segment.
Strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive business growth, client acquisition and retention.

 Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
A good first degree or equivalent from a reputable institution
A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in sales and marketing.
Good business and commercial acumen, and strong customer service orientation.
Creative selling, influencing and negotiating skills.
Outstanding networking skills, particularly relationship-building interpersonal and communication skills.
