Educomp invites committed educationists for AMBASSADOR NNE FURO KURUBO ELEME MODEL SECONDARY SCHOOL, ELEME.
Government of Rivers State, under the leadership of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has mandated Educomp Solutions Nigeria Limited to manage their AMBASSADOR NNE FURO KURUBO ELEME MODEL SECONDARY SCHOOL, ELEME, the first of the
24 such schools. Teaching methods used will include cutting-edge technology and ICT. All classrooms will be Educomp SmartClassTM enabled. Educomp’s One-On-One Learning and Learning Management System (LMS) will be deployed for the first time in Nigeria.

Academic Positions
Heads of Department (Humanities, Science, Commercial Technical/Vocational education, Languages, Mathematics and Computer studies). Candidate should possess the following:
·         A minimum of B.Sc, B.Ed with specialization in any of the disciplines taught in a secondary school. A minimum of 3-5 years’ cognate experience in similar position, Possession of a higher degree in education will be an added advantage. Ability to teach effectively in your core discipline is a must while an expertise in co-curricular activities will add value
·         Teachers (In all subjects for junior secondary and senior secondary school – JS1, JS2, JS3, SS1, SS2, SS3.) Candidate should possess the following. A minimum of B.Sc or BA and B Ed. In any subject area. Ability to teach effectively in your core discipline is a must while an expertise in co-curricular activities will add value Freshers are welcome. Candidate must be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office.

Non – academic Positions
·         Librarian: Candidate should be B.Sc in Library studies with minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar position.
·         Assistant Librarian: Candidate should be a graduate in Library studies with minimum of 2 years’ work experience
·         Academic Counselors: Candidate should be B.Sc, B. Ed., or in counselling with minimum of 2 years’ work experience
·         Sports Teachers: Candidate should be B.Sc, B Ed. In Physical and Health Education with minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience. Or exceptional proven excellence in sports. Candidates with expertise in extracurricular activities preferred.
·         Laboratory Attendant: Candidate should be B. Sc in Laboratory Technology or equivalent Higher National Diploma with minimum of 2-3 years’ work experience
·         Secretaries: Candidate should be B. Sc in Secretarial Administration or equivalent Higher National Diploma with a minimum of 2 years’ work experience. Candidate must be computer literate with ability to use Microsoft Office, Corel DRAW and Page Maker applications
·         Parent Relations: Candidate would be B.Sc in Mass Communication or equivalent Higher National Diploma with 2-3 years’ work experience. Relevant experience in similar position will be an added advantage
·         Head of Finance: Candidate having a minimum of B.Sc in Accounting or equivalent Higher National Diploma with minimum of 5 years of work experience. Candidates holding certificate holding certificates in ICAN, ACCA will have an added advantage
·          Accounts Staff: Candidate having a minimum of B. Sc in Accounting or equivalent Higher National Diploma with minimum 2 years of work experience
·         Assistant ICT Engineer: Candidate having a minimum of B. Sc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent Higher National Diploma with a minimum 2 years of work experience
·         Estate Manager: Candidate having a minimum of B. Sc in Estate Management or equivalent Higher National Diploma with a minimum 2-5 years of work experience. Candidate must not be less than 35 years old
·         Head of Security: Candidate should be a retired Military or Police Officer an not more than 40 years old
·         Warden: Candidate should have minimum of B. Ed. B. Sc Ed, or B. A Ed. Degree with 3-5 years’ work experience in similar position in a good school
·         Chef: Candidate having a minimum of B. Sc in Hotel Management or equivalent Higher National Diploma with minimum 5 years of work experience
·         Cooks: Candidate having a minimum of B. Sc in Hotel Management or equivalent Higher National Diploma with minimum 2 years of work experience.
·         Nurses: Candidates having a minimum of RN, RM, B. Sc Nursing with minimum of 3 years’ work experience
·         Maintenance Staff: Candidate having a National Diploma in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Maintenance Engineering) with relevant experience.
·         Housekeeping Staff: Candidate should have minimum of West African Examination Council (WAEC) and The National Examination Council (NECO) certification with good working relations.

For all the above positions, the candidates should be fluent in English, Computer Literate (where relevant). Candidates must be willing to stay within the school campus in the quarters provided on a bachelor status/shared accommodation, depending on the position and availability. All teachers and key staff will be sharing food with the pupils. Proven record of social service or community service will be an added advantage. This is a socially responsible school.
