The Logistics Clerk is responsible for assisting in the Logistics department of La Fayette MFB.
Key activities
Dispatch duties and car pool management:
To dispatch any document, letter or goods, according to management instructions
To fill Log book and ensure the maintenance of the company cars (regular scheduled maintenance as per mileage and any problem fixing)
To ensure that cars documentation (insurance, vehicle license) are up to date, and that mandatory safety equipments are in place and ready-to-use
To refer to Logistics Manager on any issue met with regard to cars pool management
Logistics duties:
To assist in purchases of goods as requested by the Logistics Manager: request for invoices, delivery management, relationship with the suppliers
To assist in organising of store (inventory of goods upon reception, data entry in stock management software, documentation of outgoes, filing of reception supporting documents)
To assist the Logistics Manager in the annual inventory exercise among all MFB locations
To assist the Logistics Department in setting up new branches for stationary and small equipment purchase, and to assist later on Branches in the resolution of daily petty logistics issues
To operate generators for Head Office and ensure that their maintenance is performed as per needs by the supplier(s) (regular scheduled maintenance and any problem fixing)
Any other task as requested by the Logistics Manager

Reports to: Logistics Manager
Internal relations: Head Office Departments and branches
Performance criteria
The Logistics Clerk shall demonstrate:
Very good knowledge of Ibadan roads and directions
Punctuality and ability to respect timelines and schedule
Quality of the day-to-day logbook keeping
Respect of the timelines for regular maintenance of the cars and generators
Ability to gain understanding of problems and problem fixing skills upon new branches setup processes and ongoing maintenance of branches
Ability to interact with his supervisor (reporting)
The proposed salary grid could be function of the candidate’s Diploma, prior work experience and the position they apply for.
