Novo Nordisk recruiting Medical Advisor in Nigeria

MEDICAL ADVISOR

The Novo Nordisk Middle Africa region covers 761 million people in 46 countries. We have an established presence with human insulin in Africa and our focus today is sustain the growth of the market and support the communities living with diabetes.

We are currently looking for a Medical Advisor to be based in Nigeria reporting to the Medical, Regulatory & Global Projects Manager. The expected start date in position is 01^st May 2012.

Main job tasks:

·         Build & strengthen relationships with stakeholders and key opinion leaders     

  

·         Providing quality medical and scientific support, education and training in diabetes

·         To plan local and regional congresses and clinical trials

·         Prepare, review, maintain and submit product registrations

·         Coordinate product registration with local authorities and external agencies

Qualifications:

·         Medical degree

·         Post graduate training in internal medicine

·         2-3 years experience similar role

·         Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical methodology

·         Developed business acumen and knowledge of healthcare industry

·         Excellent communication skills with strong medical knowledge

Work Conditions        

-          International travel for 72-84 days a year will be required
