Marine company recruiting en masse

MARINE VACANCY
An indigenous up stream marine vessel company based in Port Harcourt, is currently seeking experienced and talented individuals to fill various roles on board her crew supply boat, AHTS and platform supply vessel starting April, 2012.

CAPTAIN:
·         Valid Class 1 Unlimited Master Certificate of Competency a must from a recognized marine academy or Nautical college a must
·         At least fifteen (15) years’ experience of sea service including ten (10) years’ experience as a Master on anchor Handling tugs Supply vessels (AHTS)
·         Total command in oral and written English. Computer literate.

CHIEF MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS:
·         Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Oil and Gas field of activities in relation with the Engineering, Transportation and Installation of steel platforms.         
·         Degree qualified within a mechanical & Electrical discipline is desirable
·         Experience working with vessel electrical, power generation, instrumentation and Dynamic Positioning systems
·         Possession of an Offshore Survival and Medical desirable

MARINE OPERATIONS MANAGERS
·         Engineering degree from a recognized university, MBA or MA an added advantage
·         Six to ten prior Operations experience required preferably in Marine and oil & gas environment
·         Platform supply vessel and Anchor handling tools supply experience
·         Experience with passenger crew boat. Tugboat
·         Production marine drilling operations
·         Relevant Certification is durable

SAFETY/MEDIC OFFICER:
Will be responsible for the safety and security of the ship and all personnel on board
·         Minimum seven years HSE Experience
·         Relevant degree from a recognized institution
·         Understanding of Maritime Law/Legislation and ship’s Safety Management System (Ref: ISM Code)
·         HSE certification a plus.

MARINE SUPERINTENDENT/CHIEF OFFICER
·         STCW (A-11/2) Certificate of Competency (Deck Officer II Unlimited) meeting legislative requirements of the Flag State
·         Recognized Seaman’s discharged book
·         Fully conversant with Flag State Maritime Law/Legislation and ship’s Safety Management System (Ref: ISM Code)
·         Completed Security Awareness training relevant for the position (Ref: ISPS Code)

FIRST OFFICER:              

·         Must have a chief mate certificate/unlimited and recognized DP certificate
·         Has a proven driving and maneuvering mate skills and automatic DP controls
·         Proficient in operations and holds a full GMDSS operations certificate
·         Has a recognized seaman’s discharge book and a valid offshore medical certificate

OILERS:
·         STCW certified and has a valid seaman’s book/license
·         Is certified in water survival training
·         Can work at great heights from a workbasket attached to a floating crane

QA/QC:
·         BS degree in Mathematics or Science Discipline. CQE/CQA certification desired
·         5 year’s experienced as a Quality Manager and system auditor, preferably in the marine, manufacturing or oil & gas
·         Knowledge of QMS Systems including ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP, including composing and auditing of policies procedures and work instructions
·         Experience with Non-conformance Reporting: Root Cause & Corrective Action; Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, ITAR and Export Compliance desired.
·         Experience in risk analysis (e.g. establishing risk documents such as FMEA’s)

GENERAL MANAGER:
·         Knowledge of Commends
·         Management of marine personnel, P.R.O
·         Knowledge of African Marine Operations, Gulf of Guinea
·         Industrial engineering or related degree from a recognized university, MBA or MA an added advantage
·         Ten to Fifteen years prior Operations or Executive management experience required preferably in Marine environment
·         Knowledge of industrial engineering, human resources laws and regulations, and employee relations skills an added advantage

GROUP, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
·         Business process and general management knowledge/expertise
·         Knowledge of Marine, oil and gas downstream sector activities
·         Experience managing engineering, marine and/or manufacturing companies
·         International expertise
·         12 years minimum cumulative work experience, 8 years in a senior management capacity in a reputable/quoted/multinational oil and gas or marine company.
·         First Degree in Business, Chemical/industrial Engineering. Professional affiliation of relevant bodies in the marine, oil and gas industry.

GROUP HEAD, FINANCE
1.       Vast experience in the following is a must:
Financial Accounting, analysis and Modeling
Treasury and Corporate Financing
Cash flow, budget monitoring and tax management
Investment and Portfolio Management  
2.       Minimum of First Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, MA and professional accounting/finance certifications such as ICAN or equivalent is highly required
3.       10 years post qualification experience primarily in oil and gas sector with at least 5 years at senior management level in engineering or marine industry.

FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER:
·         BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience
·         7 or more years experience managing core accounting function
·         Prior auditing and payroll management experience helpful. Familiarity with marine, oil & gas and related international regulations a plus.

HR OFFICER:
·         A bachelor’s degree and five (5) years’ Human Resources experience, OR
·         A master’ s degree in HR Management and four (4) years’ experience in the HR field
·         CIPD or (S) PHR certification preferred

ACCOUNTANT:
·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting plus 5 years of core accounting experience
·         Thorough knowledge of general accounting including thorough skills knowledge plus the application of general accounting theory
·         Budgeting experience required.

PROCUREMENT OFFICER:
·         Undergraduate degree preferably in electrical, mechanical engineering
·         Minimum four years experiences in electrical, mechanical logistics and procurement of raw materials.
·         Negotiating experience with procurement agreements and contracts.
·         Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems (e.g SAP, others)
