MANAGING DIRECTOR/CEO
The successful candidate shall be responsible for the management of the company and shall exercise overall control of all the company’s operations and optimize its resources for stakeholders’ benefits. The Managing Director will report to the Board of Directors. Specifically, the successful candidate will:-
Develop and implementing short, medium and long term strategies, action plans and targets in line with defined vision, mission and strategic objectives approved by the Board.
Conduct regular view of the company competitive environment and take appropriate environment and take appropriate measures to continuously increase the company’s market share
Define and sustain appropriate work ethics and culture for the company and institutionalize the company’s values across all process, policies and strategies
Recognize, anticipate and respond to all issues and opportunities that affect the company’s financial and operational stability and effectively safeguard the company’s interest and value at all times
Ensure efficient day-to-day management of the company
QUALIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES:
A first degree, preferably in insurance, actuarial science, mathematics, finance or related discipline from a reputable institutions
Relevant professional insurance qualifications i.e ACII or equivalent
A master’s degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years cognate experience with at least 7 years not below the position of Assistant General Manager in a reputable insurance company in Nigeria
Strong interpersonal skills combined with outstanding relationship and business development capabilities
High level of professionalism, exemplary teamwork and excellent leadership skills
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The successful candidate shall be responsible for leading and supervising key operations of the company. He/she shall be responsible and accountable to the Board of Directors through the Managing Director. Specifically, the successful candidate will:-
Support the Board of Directors in defining and sustaining the strategic direction of the company.
Provide executive management support to the MD and lead effective implementation of strategic actions short, medium and long term goals of the company
Provide strategic and tactical leadership directly to relevant divisions covering technical services, business development and human resources management
Take leadership position of revenue generation of the company including assuring the company’s long term competitive positioning.
Take responsibility for optimal performance of all personnel in relevant divisions through effective implementation of the company’s HR strategy and people management initiatives.
Initiate and sustain effective risk management of the company’s operations at all levels of its business
Ensure the company remains a highly responsive person and meets its compliance obligation to all statutory and regulatory institutions
Support the Managing Direction in the efficient day-to-day management of the company
QUALIFICATION AND ATTRIBUTES:
A first degree, preferably in insurance, actuarial science, mathematics, finance or related discipline from a reputable institutions

Minimum of 12 years cognate experience with at least 4 years not below the position of Assistant General Manager in a reputable insurance company in Nigeria
