Deepwater Drilling company recruiting massively

Senior Tool Pusher, Tool Pusher, Driller, Senior Dynamic Officer at an International Company

An international ultra-deepwater drilling contractor currently in the process of mobilization to Nigeria to embark on drilling  campaign in the Nigeria waters is in dare need of Nigeria candidates to fill the below senior technical positions on the drillship:-

Position:         Chief Mechanic

Qualification:

    * Must be Nigerian with at least twelve years offshore experience on a drilling rig or as an alternate seven years minimum experience in a similar position with an offshore drilling contractor



Basic Job Responsibilities

Supervise and `lead in completing the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Repairs of Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic components of all Topside Drilling Equipment, Related Support Systems and Tubular Handling Equipment, pedestal mounted Knuckle Boom Cranes and Heli-deck access crane.





Position:         Chief Electronic Technician

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least ten years drilling rig experience in the electronics section of the maintenance function or as an alternate six years minimum in similar position with an offshore drilling contractor anywhere around the globe.



Basic Job Responsibilities

Maintain and repair all electronics systems including Dynamic Position, communication, data acquisition and navigational equipment. AND Maintain and repair electronic systems in relation to subsea BOP equipment and drilling package instrumentation and electronics


Position:         Chief Electrician

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least ten years offshore experience in the maintenance department or as an alternate seven years minimum in a similar position with ah offshore drilling contractor with necessary certifications;



Basic Job Responsibilities:

    * Supervise the maintenance and repair of electrical components of drilling equipment (i.e. drilling motors and auxiliaries, Top Drive systems, mud pumps etc…) marine equipment (thruster motors ballast system, cranes)


Position:         First Engineer

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least eight years offshore experience in the Marine department or as an alternate five years minimum in a position with an offshore drilling contractor.



Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Supervise and assist in completing the preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components of: 1 Power Plant and related Auxiliary Systems. 2. Dynamically Positioning Equipment and Auxiliary Systems. 3. Ballast and Bilge Systems. 4. Remote Operated Valve Systems. 5. Boilers and Incinerators ETC.





Position:         Electrical/Electronic Supervisor

Qualification

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least twelve years experience in the maintenance department of a rig or as an alternate six years minimum experience in a similar position with offshore drilling contractors.





Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Supervise the maintenance and repair of electrical/components of drilling equipment (i.e. drilling motors and auxiliaries, Top Drive system, mud pumps, etc….) organize the installation, calibration and modification to electric/electronic systems and components as per The Company’s maintenance standards





Position:         Mechanical Supervisor

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigerian with all the certifications and at least fifteen years offshore experience in a drilling rig or as an alternate ten years minimum similar position with an ultra-deepwater offshore drilling contractor anywhere in the world



Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Supervise and assist in completing the maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components of 1. All Topside Drilling Equipment, Drilling Related Support Systems and Tubular Handling Equipment. 2. Pedestal Mounted Knuckle Boom Cranes and Heli-deck access crane. 3. Power Plant and related Auxiliary systems. 4. Dynamically Positioning Equipment and Related Auxiliary Systems. 5. Ballast and Bilge Systems. 6. Remote Operated Valve Systems. 7. Living Quarters and related support systems. 8. Boilers and Incinerator. 9. Compressed Air Systems and Equipment including both Services and Starting Air. 10. Emergency Shutdown System, Safety Systems and zero discharge equipment.




Position:         Chief Mate

Qualification

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least ten years offshore experienced in the Marine department or as an alternate seven years minimum in a similar position with an offshore drilling contractor

 Basic Job Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance of deck equipment, fire fighting and life saving equipment, lifting equipment and vessel’s exterior maintenance AND Ensure materials and equipment loaded onboard are safely stowed, secured and labeled according to Regulatory  requirements


Position: Senior Tool Pusher

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigeria with at least ten years rig experience including two years proven experience as Tool pusher on an Ultra-deepwater drillship.
    * Alternatively candidate must have fifteen years experience as a senior tool pusher with drilling rig


Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Lead the drilling department in the planning of goals and objectives for the annual QHSE plan AND Ensure that operations are planned, organized, supervised and executed in accordance with well programs, rig move plans, Company’s requirements and contractual obligations


Position: Tool Pusher

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigerian with a minimum of eight years rig experience including at least four years proven experience as Driller on an ultra deepwater drillship.
    * Alternatively candidate must have Ten years  experience as a tool pusher with a drilling rig



Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Assist the Senior Tool pusher in maintaining the sections of the procedures manual relevant to his operational responsibilities, ensuring that procedures are understood an d followed, updated and modified




Position: Driller

Qualification:

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least Seven Years offshore experience as a driller or as an alternate five years minimum in a similar role/opposition with an offshore ultra-deepwater drilling.



Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Ensure that operations are planned, organized, supervised and executed in accordance with well programs, rig move plans, the Company’s requirements and contractual obligations AND Monitor the well condition  at all times (i.e. keep the hole full, depth, mud weight, weight on bit, circulating volumes, etc). Interpret and response to down hole conditions.





Position:         Senior Dynamic Position Officer

Qualification

    * Must be a Nigerian with at least twelve years offshore experience in the Marine department or as an alternate seven years minimum in a related DPO position with a ultra-deepwater drilling contractor



Basic Job Responsibilities

    * Operate dynamic positioning (DP) equipment in order to maintain the rig in a stable condition and at the correct draft bad trim at all times AND operate the ballast control system where applicable among other responsibilities.
