A reputable pharmaceutical/consumer manufacturing company, with close to 50 years history in the manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical and health-care consumer products require competent, highly competent, highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the following position.
Regulatory Officer
Qualifications
* A minimum of B. Pharm
* NYSC discharge certificate
* Valid registration with PCN
* Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in pharmaceutical industry
* Basic knowledge in computer application
* Should be between 30 to 40 years.
Responsibilities
* To renew the premises license of the company and annual license to practice of all the pharmacist in the company every year with pharmacist council of Nigeria.
* Register all the company of products with regulatory body e.g. NAFDAC, SON etc.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities on behalf of the company
* Ensure strict adherence to ethics of good manufacturing practice and ISO standard
* Liaise with appropriate body in regulatory matters e.g. PCN, NAFDAC, SON etc.
* Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the company.
Chemical Analyst
Qualification
* A minimum of BSC/HND in chemistry, biochemistry or industrial chemistry.
* NYSC discharge certificate
* Adequate knowledge of good manufacturing practice (GMP)
* Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in analysis of pharmaceutical and consumer products
* Sound knowledge of analytical chemistry/weighing techniques
* Basic knowledge in computer application
* Should be between 25 to 35 years
Responsibilities
* Carrying out physical and chemical analysis on raw materials, intermediate and finished goods
* Develop and review all raw materials testing procedures and related documents in accordance with global requirement to ensure total compliance to quality policy requirement
* Proper arrangement of raw materials retentions samples for easy retrievals
* Perform the quality control monitoring of water to ensure conformance to product and GMP requirement
Production Pharmacist
Qualification
* Minimum of a B.Pharm
* NYSC discharge certificate
* Valid registration with PCN
* Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in a pharmaceutical industry
* Adequate knowledge in pharmaceutical liquids, tableting and capsules manufacturing.
* Basic knowledge in computer application
* Should be between 30 to 40 years
Responsibilities
* Assist the production manager in monitoring all batch production records from the start of production till completion by ensuring strict compliance
* Monitoring of all manufacturing and packaging operations by assigning jobs to supervisors, operators and charge hands
* Assist the production manager by ensuring strict compliance with production plans and generating daily production reports including variances
* Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all batches for onward approval
* Assist in coordinating all the work-force to ensure production targeted delivery as scheduled
* Report directly to the production manager concerning all production matters
Laboratory Manager
Qualification
* B.Pharm, HND/B.Sc in sciences, chemistry, industrial chemistry, biochemistry
* NYSC discharge certificate
* At least 5 years practical experience especially in analysis of pharmaceutical and nutritional food products
* Basic knowledge in computer application
* Good managerial skill
* High level of commitment, sense of urgency, good initiatives and decision–making are required
* Should be between 30 – 40 years
Responsibilities
* To provide world-class quality control services for products and materials in accordance with current good manufacturing practices
* Supports evaluation of new sources of raw materials samples from time to time
* Ensure timely sampling, analysis and release of raw/packaging materials
* Ensure that products manufactured on site are tested and released on time in line with procedure
* Provide necessary stability data to justify the shelf life awarded to products through effective management of stability studies
* Coordinates the evaluation of finished products, packaging, material and other components as may be required from time to time
* Preform the quality control monitoring of water to ensure conformance to product and GMP requirement
* Ensure laboratory staffs are adequately trained on current analytical techniques to improve competence
* Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the quality assurance manager
