JOB TITLE: RESEARCH FOOD TECHNOLOGIST (REF. RFT 2010)
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Report to the Group Research & Business Development Manager, will provide rheological and microbiological data on raw materials, in process and finished products. Quality assurance through lab evaluation of raw materials, products under development and finished products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
(1) B.Sc./M.Sc Food Science & Technology. Membership of NIFST.
(2) Five 0 ‘Level Credits, including Maths & English at not more than two sittings.
Organized, reliable and resourceful with good interpersonal, analytical/problem solving skills and exceptional degree of sustained creativity.
5yrs hands-on experience in a similar R & D environment in Food & Allied Industry, research institute or academia; working knowledge of HACCP, Glutomatic, RVA, Viscometer, Consistometer for evaluation of rheological/functional properties of Flour and Food Products.
